1st year wedding anniversay

1st year wedding anniversary is also know as 纸婚, paper marriage, to describe the first year of marriage is as 薄 as a piece of paper... definition dosen sound very encouraging....hahahhaa.... but who cares???

maybe mr ang knows about this 纸婚 thingy, that's y he gave me a card...made of paper....duh!!!.... hahahaha....

so touchy touchy and at the same time so embarrassed lo ....cos not only did i not get him anything, i screwed up our celebration plan... =(

Weeks ago, i chanced upon this promotion on the train...
and we decided that it shall be our anniversary activity... =)

but we failed to see that the promotion is only valid for singaporeans, PR and local workpass holders only which means that i need to produce my IC for verification... and i have to bring my teeny weeny mango bag out today... which means i only have my ezlink card and credit cards with me.... NO IC.... super uber sad la... travel all the way from hougang to vivocity, expecting a day of fun but bcos of a stupid me... din get to do anything... even movie tickets were sold out for the timing we wanted... =( ....

mop mop mop around... we decided to go on a eating spree...

dessert @ 4pm
banana mango cake from Fruit Paradise for him and

nutty caramel for me.... luv luv luv this cake.... very very light texture with very sweet banana and the nuts are abit 咸咸的... the only downside.... each slice is $6.80... =(... with service charge and GST...we paid $16 for 2 slices of cake...

nothing much to shop so we headed for nex for dinner... yes...immediately after the cakes....

decided to try out
at basement 1

rather happy with our decision as the food was yummilious and with generous serving... =)

we ordered a chicken and seafood meal costing approx $25 and it came with

a bowl of japanese rice, a bowl of miso soup and 2 slices of oranges...

we also ordered an oyster omlette
which came with the fluttery thingy on 大狗白吃 and was filled with at least 12 big and juicy oysters

on top of these, we redeemed a 'bowl' of chawanmushi (this place share the same loyalty card as ichibon sushi)
which was cooked in an edible 'bowl'.... i think it's white carrot....so interesting.... and no, we din eat the bowl....heee

although we were very full but as everything was so delicious, we decided to try their dessert....
goreng pisang with vanilla ice cream topped with cinnamon powder..... super yummilious....and the bill came up to approx $46

it's definitely a place that we will visit again soon... =) ....

Happy one year dear....=* ...thanks for being so patient with me too.. =)
