shopping @ Las Vegas Premium Outlets

Our second and final outlet shopping for the trip....
this outlet was better than the previous one which we went to at los angeles just cos the tax rate was at 8.1% instead of the 9.5% at the latter.... super heartache when i found out as i had gotten some items at the one in los angeles .... =S

saw this at the carpark..... crime rate must be pretty high for the police dept to issue such notice

And i realised that USA is a super duper calorie concious country.... though the average size of their citizens begs to differ.... =P

calorie figure are displayed on all menus of fast food restaurants, starbucks and even vending machines....
now then i know a normal bottle of coke contains 240 calorie while coke zero contains none....

anyway, it's a must to collect the VIP coupon book cos it gives additional discount in participating stores....

and so we decided to 兵分四路 to do our own shopping as the other 3 seems to have a shopping list to check upon while i am the kind of shoppers who buy things based on 缘分.... if i pass by the stores that i had in mind (coach, kate spade, tag heuer, UGG, sephora), then i will walk in to look see look see.... if dun have, then too bad lo or should i say "Great, i save money".... wahahahaha....

.... anyway, the place was so huge with so many different brands that i only managed to comb a quarter of it within 4 hours and i must say that i was either damn heng or damn suay to make a left turn from the entrance that resulted in me passing by shops such as coach, coach men, kate spade and tag heuer .... i bet if UGG and sephora were in this outlets mall, i would pass by both of them too.....

I mega luv & mega hate US shopping at the same time.... mega luv cos the brands (Kate Spade for now and Coach previously) i like are so much more affordable at the outlets that they made me feel so dumb to have spent $$$ getting them back in Singapore and even the one in HK....

getting gifts has never been a habit of mine, especially so while on a holiday... that's why mega hate it cos the crazy prices seduced me into getting 'branded' gifts for friends and families just because they are so affordable.... really have the 不买很对不起自己 feeling lo.... so in the end, i ended up spending so so so so so so so much more than what i had budgeted to spend.... but i guess it's still better than to live with regrets with not buying them.... =)

My 战利品 from this outlet:

(1) Kate Spade Shades with polarised lens

luv the woody frame and the unique green stripe that lined the edge

(2) Kate Spade box sling bag in Tiffany green, my favourite colour

(3) Kate Spade red hand carry bag that comes with a sling too
this one is more of an impulsive buy just because it's in a vibrant yet wun get dirty easily colour and so super affordable for its size.... have decided that it shall be my work bag for the whole of next year....

and the rest of the 战利品 from this outlet as gifts for people i luv... =)

first up, a Coach wallet for Alfred

Coach card holder for 洪家的三个少爷们

Coach lanyards and cardholders for myself and my favourite gals

Charlene with her lanyard

for Mab who refused to have her face featured in my blog... =S

Kate spade card holders in vibrant colours... luv luv

Angela took the black one

Mei Xiang with her pink one

and Yuan with the blue one...

yes, i 'forced' all of them to take a selfie with the gift and whatsapp me the images for this post...wahahahaha...

the happiest person is definitely Mr Ang cos he received a tag heuer watch from his catty wife...
[update 14 Oct 2021 :
sold for $400 as it has lost its worth & meaning]

but the catch is:
this watch is our 5th year wedding anniversary gift... and our 5th year wedding anniversary is on 2 Jan 2016.... wahahahaha.... i bought the gift 1.5 years earlier just so that i could save $$$ on something he likes for our marriage milestone .... yes, surviving 5 years of marriage is a milestone in my definition... =)

so broke and heartache for the day that i settled for a us$4 churros for dinner.... =P
