Pre CNY @ the Angs and the Chuas

decided to doll up home sweet home for this year CNY since i was having more energy... heee...
really really love the decal tree in my living room which is so versatile... it was a xmas tree just two months ago and now it's a mandarin orange tree... =)

the 3 containers of pineapple tarts, almond cookies and curry cornflakes were purchased from Lydia while the rest were all prepared by 蔡 mummy...
once my mummy, always my mummy no matter how 'young' i am.... hahahaha.... she was and is still super worried that i would not follow the Chinese customs of getting all the 'correct' types of nuts so she ended up preparing them for me for home sweet home every CNY .... =)

even the two bunches of Chinese Leek hanging on our door and window were prepared by her to symbolise accumulation of wealth in our $$$ account... i like!!!!

the kiddos' favourite from uncle kok ming and candy jie jie ... ;P

am currently into doing collage with my phone... so just treat it as a photo summary @ the end of each section k?!?!?! heee...

yearly steamboat for 蔡家's reunion dinner on 15 Feb

why pic so blur de?!?!?! but it was the only one pic i took of the whole set up... all i can say is.... the ingredient that 蔡 mummy prepared made all of us very happy....

colour difference between fresh and canned abalone....

of all the goodies, my favourite was the scallop

this home cooked shark fin soup deserved a special mention too....

and Yes, my 蔡 mummy is just that awesome at preparing yummilicious dishes and at the same time spotting very stylo hairstyle and colour!!!

found 3 of this red packet in the big bag of red packets that 洪妈妈 gave me and thought that it represented the 3As at home lo... 2 boys & 1 girl... and hence it shall be for them... heee

Upon the 3As' recommendation, I have been watching Running Man at 蔡家 almost every Sunday since beginning of this year and i am hooked.... so hooked that i made the 3As complete missions in order to retrieve their ang baos.... wahahahaha...

Mission 1: find the ang bao which was hidden in the house (mummy's room to be exact)

Mission 2: take a selfie with the ang bao and sent it to moi for this post...

and i am so glad that i have siblings who entertain me.... wahahaha.... i had so much fun laughing at them while they searched the whole house... they were still searching for the angbaos when i left for home that night.... wahahahaha....

the surprising thing was that they told me they had enjoyed the game.... heee.... motivation to up the game for next year.... wahahahaha

Alfred was the first to find his on the top cabinet above mummy's bed...
