Changhua Railway Roundhouse (彰化扇形車庫)

Our driver, 老蔡 (+886920490350), came to picked us up punctually at 9 am. We had engaged him for 5 days from Taichung to Taipei, stopping over at Hsinchu and Yilan at NT$28000.

this was the ride we had... very spacious for 5 of us and our 5 luggage... only flaw was that we had to tilt over the middle row of seats to let the people in the 3rd row to board and alight; this was a little troublesome due to the rain... =S

but the service rendered by 老蔡 was way way way beyond expectation; always punctual, helped to take pics at some of the attractions, developed & laminated some of the pics he took for us, gave us all the soft copies of the pics he took for us in a CD rom, gave us free boat ride tickets @ Sun Moon Lake, lend us a wifi egg even for the 4 days when we didn't engage his service in Taipei, picked us up to have breakfast at his favourite 面线 stall in Taipei and after which sent us to our next destination (at no charges) during one of his free day....

upon Yiling's recommendation, we visited 昇田食品 which is famous for its salted egg malt sugar biscuit

but after trying this and trying that, we bought so much more... they really have quite interesting favours....
