Day 4 in BKK : Mahanakhon Skywalk

We bought the sunset ticket to King Power Mahanakhon Skywalk @ 1080baht (S$42.50)

in less than a minute, we were up on the 74th level; indoor 360 degree observational deck

高高在上 把一切踩在脚下的感觉

Glass Tray @ the 78th level

it was so difficult & hilarious trying to get pics with minimal intruders so that we could crop them off ... 😂😂😂

& the shoes cover were so hideous!!!

如果人可少一点,欣赏此美景的心情就会更优美

time-lapse by XP : 25 minutes condensed into 25 seconds

就是喜欢拍我的 jio jio.... 😂😂😂

早知道 we were be given these soft copies for free 就不用排除万难地自己拍了 😂😂😂

20baht (S$0.80) postcard ... 就是喜欢 this minimalist style...

Day 3 in BKK : The Village - Farm to Cafe & Mystery Mansion

this was my favourite dinning experience on this trip cos the food here was ALL so yummilicious and pretty that they deserved a pic each ...

Prosciutto on super sweet & juicy melons + Chive Pancakes as appetizers

my main; Tom Yum Prawn Fried Rice with Clear Soup + Melon Honey Lime Smoothie

this melon dessert so so so super duper cute right ?!?!?!?!? hidden under the tortoise shell chocolate bread was melon cream which was equally yummilicious as the melon yoghurt soft serve and fresh melon... 😍😍😍...

this dessert impressed me so much that i requested to order another dessert that caught my attention on the menu : Lava Salted Egg Toast with Ice-cream... very unique, super worth the calorie, YUMMY !!!

what took us by the greatest surprise was that this meal only cost us S$100....  😍😍😍

popped over to the cafe next door and bought these for the coffee lovers in my life...

325baht (S$12.90)

surprised with the view when we exited the cafe.... did we teleport to Japan??? or did we 闯入 some MTV 拍摄现场啊?!?!?!? 😂😂😂

来, 我们也来拍一张封面照吧 !!!

there was really a farm behind the cafe oh.... no wonder the salad was all so fresh !!!

we had so much fun taking pic & video on this super tall swing that was in the middle of the farm.... wahahahaha....

last pic in Kanchanaburi before we (more to I) food coma-ed on our 3 hours car ride back to bangkok... 😴😴😴

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the only thing that caught XP & my attention at Asiatique was this Mystery Mansion... ticket staff told us that there was no sudden drop so we decided to 自己 go 吓自己... 😂😂😂
300baht (S$11.90) each
watched till the end to assess if this was too scary or too lame for us...
人吓人真的会吓死人... 我们的尖叫声是被 exit staff 吓到的... 😂😂😂
so cute but not cute enough to worth the calories... 😂😂😂
shopping @ Asiatique wasnt as inviting... the only thing we bought at this open-air mall was snacks... and these werent even yummy...=S
300baht = S$11.90
a queer habit that we had on this trip was visiting the 7-Eleven just next to our apartment on a daily basis... 😅😅😅
supper for the night... this cheese strawberry crumble cubes is yummy !!!
Day 3 in BKK : Death Railway
yummy sandwich from 7-Eleven for breakfast before a 2 hours+++ car ride to Kanchanaburi...
had booked the Death Railway & River Kwai Bridge Tour by Ak Travel via Klook @ $391.20 for 4 pax just the night before we flew into Bangkok... regret not doing sufficient research to be confident enough to book a driver recommended by word of mouth too... 😓😓😓
1st stop : Street Market
food stalls had too many flies buzzing around for comfort so loitered at the souvenir stalls and bought this magnet at 20baht (S$0.80) for the fridge @ home sweet home...
2nd stop: Bridge over River Kwai
人山人海 @ the entrance of the Bridge over River Kwai
stand-up paddling among all the seaweeds......😖
walkers who couldnt get off the track in time when the train comes in can avoid being trainbutt by standing behind the red line on the many mini platforms along the track... heng, trains only come in 3 times a day...
was busy taking photos along the whole railway track that i didnt realise the chirpings at all till i uploaded this video.... 😅
the only 4 who were brave enough to walk all the way to the end of the track...
3rd stop : Kanchanaburi Town
Super duper quiet town... 90% of the shops were closed, including the gun shop which was in our itinerary 😤😤😤... Guide said that most of the people who originally lived in this town had moved to the cities for work...
i feel that it's such a waste... with the Death Railway, Safari Park, Erawan Waterfall, Elephant Sanctuary; this town could be developed into a popular touristy town like Malacca or Penang lo...
House of war hero, Boon Pong which is being used as a company space by his children...
4th stop : Thamkrasae Train Station
heavenly on a hot hot sunny day... so scorching hot that weather app stated it felt like 43°C... the roasted peanuts were so crunchy & flavourful... 😍
20baht (S$0.80)
the cave, just next to the track, where the rail builders were kept captive during the track construction had been converted into safety prayer area
monkey see, monkey too...
Wishing for a peaceful, healthy & happy life for me, my love ones and all those who love me...
the walk to & fro was so fun & exciting !!!
Thanks for agreeing and accompanying me on this tour even though i know ur hated the sun and were jittery of the walk on the track too...
要拍照的把头 pop 出来... 😂😂😂
had fun sharing about the train windows that were similar to those on the buses of our childhood time...😂😂😂
we alighted 2 stops later after 20 minutes of boring scenery... 😂😂😂
 Both XP & I took a fancy of this yukata top (200baht = $8) and thought we would get it on our way back to the car... though the guide had repeatedly told us that we would be taking the 1.30pm train but it only occurred to us that we were not coming back approx 5 minutes before the train arrived and had to make a dash back to the entrance to buy it... 😂😂😂
