met up with Joyce for scalp pampering @ TwoHerbs and to collect the hatchday prezzie that i 托 her to help me get from China on her recent work trip!!! 😍😍😍

saw this video by Black Canvas and decided that it shall be my hatchday 仪式感 for this year... happened to be with Claire & Mich when i was registering and jio-ed them along... 

Both readily agreed but Mich piloted 2 days before the shot... 😑😑😑... heng, the deposit could be transferred...

paid $169 each for 2 head-to-toe transformations & 3 pics each... i topped up another $200 for 3 addition pics!!!

brought Claire to Fortuna for dinner... wanted to treat her for accompanying me on this photoshoot despite her being #2 at rejecting taking pics in our group...

it ended up being my 1st hatchday meal of the year, a month earlier... wahahahaha

super rare occasion where she takes public transport in Singapore!!!

then popped over next door to Rise Bakehouse for Vv's hatchday dessert... we so love the deco & the dessert that we already made plans to be back next month... 😍😍😍

Hatchday Celebration w Mx

really blessed and touched to be mx's friend... despite her super super packed and tiring schedule, she still set aside a full day for my hatchday celebration... 

she signed us up for a 3.5 hours suncatcher workshop with Elf The Keeper

we got to choose our designs and colours

very excited cos it was my first time working with glass!!!

this first step of scoring the glass with a steel scoring wheel to create a controlled fault line was the most difficult & tedious step but snapping the glass apart along the fault line was super magical & rewarding... 😍😍😍

my favourite step was smoothening the glass edges with the glass grinder; luv the buzzing sound, the vibration and water to touch and the final result of the glass from the grinding... i find this step very therapeutic... 😍😍😍

the most dangerous step because of the burning hot iron rod but the molten solder was a joy to watch... round round cute cute due to high surface tension... 

大功告成 !!! With our art, heart & hardwork and with our chers... 

mx had craving for hotpot so to her favourite HDL we went... 

hatchday celebration 就是要有 hatchday cake... doesnt matter we were both super duper full!!! 😂😂😂

It was a TIMELY read. It was a good read. it was a necessary read. gonna try out some of the facilitation strategies shared in this book for my NLC lesson ob in Term 3!!!
