11th May (Sat)
round 1 of happi mummy's day @ home just because we no like to queue nor squeeze with the crowd outside... heee
and on this day, our precious mummy submitted a request to go batam to eat seafood... must have gotten the inspiration from Alfred's recent trip there... a plan for a stayca in JB was formulated instead for ease of transport and better food choices and Alvin & wifey were arrowed to make sure this trip happens for all of us... 😂😂😂

9th May (Thurs)
took O-I-L to go apply egate
only to find out that egate was 'free for all' today... everyone could just use!!!... 😂😂😂... cleared both customs in under 20 minutes both way...
with the extra time we had since no need to queue for the egate registration, we took the bus to KSL for a delicious lunch (맛있는점심 mat iss neun jeom sim) at 大上海 and got our nails pretty (예쁜 - ye ppeun) for our Turkiye trip in 4 weeks time...
fruits (과일 - gwa il), LiHO & a trip to Lotus' to stock up on snacks (간식 - gan sik) and cup noodles before making our way back home...
8th May (Wed)
potluck brekkie (아침 식사 - a chim sik sa) to celebrate Nas' graduation & her third farewell from fpps... All the best gal, honored to be ur CT, and thank you for everything you have done, washed & cleared... appreciate it lots... 😘😘😘
completed book #9... spent 45 minutes in the library (도서관 - do seo gwan) to finish this book (책 - chaek) because it's due date today (오늘 - o neul)... 😂😂😂
so the simply joy & blessings & happiness that i always look out for are known as MicroJoys... 😍😍😍... shall use it as my monthly header for 2025...
4th May (Sat)
a heavily rainy morning (아침 - a chim) of charade, dance (춤 - chum), songs (노래 - no rae), colouring and taking many many pics with a life-size Mickey Mouse balloon with and for the residents... 😍😍😍
popped into the miniature exhibition @ MUJI, PS where artist Tatsuya Tanaka's photography of and his miniature works with MUJI products are on display... luv the creativity, one of a kind and cuteness (귀여움 - gwi yeo um) in his works...
it has became a habit to have dessert (후식 - hu sik) with mx after my (almost) monthly volunteering @ mwh so even though mx wasnt available today (오늘 - u neul), i went ahead for dessert on my own... heee
and completed book #8 while enjoying this plate (접시 - jeob si) of sweetness with a pot of sweet tea (차 - cha)...
like this book a lot (이 책을 많이 좋아해요 - i chaek eul manh i joh a hae yo) ... enjoyed reading about the author's view and recommendations on korean's way of life... it's written (쓴 - sseun) from first-person perspective, is very positively worded and very relatable - "We are happy now."
and there was a surprise note of encouragement left by a previous reader
today (오늘 - u neul) have 美美穿搭 just because i wanna matchy my rain boots...
a happy happy me day (낮 - nat) further sweetened with gifts (선물 - seon mul) for myself & Julia...

thanks Ai Rin & daughter, Nas and Cy for a sweet start (시작 - si jak) to this contradictory month; a month of many celebrations, also a month of painful memories...
