Inktober52 2026

今年的 Inktober 52 迟到了... 1st prompt was only released on the 15th of Jan with 2 backdated prompts as FREE TIME*... 😂😂😂

This year's goal #7 is to "Complete (at least) 75% of Inktober 52" which equates to a minimum of 39 out of 52 drawings !!!... that's 5 more than last year's attempt !!!

27th Mar : Completed both in less than 10 minutes... just wanna get them over and done with... too many holiday, reno and other art stuff to do and clear these few weeks le... 😅😅😅

PAM in Chongqing Day #4 & 5

breakfast from the local breakfast shop opposite our homestay while waiting for pick up for our hike... even this glutinous snack was made sichuan peppery... 😅😅😅

comfy 9 seater transport to UNESCO World Heritage Site, 天生三桥 & 龙水峡地缝

where one of the transformer movies was filmed at...  

we reached after a 2-3 hrs drive from Chongqing City Centre with a pit stop... was happy happy that that toilets were acceptably clean though most were squatting 

spotted this car with a dont know what kind of inversion decal !?!?!?!

the temperature was another 5 degree Celsius lower at 8 degree Celsius?!?!?... my fingers were freezing pain and both hf and i were so thankful we had heat packs in our pockets!!! 

glass bridge... shouldnt have bothered... not worth the 40rmb top up at all !!!

Cleaning crew with bag & kiap kiap in hand... 

took the Tianlong Swirl Elevator, a 360 degree rotating elevator down 100m in 1 minute and was gifted a mini individual photoshoot... can see our 1, 2, 3 ?!?!?!?! 

轿子 for those in need... not many takers though... 

wonder how many trips do they made each day?!?!?!

lawless EV driving between the two parks that got me sliding left & right... =S 

compulsory steps up but rather minimal... most of the time, it was down, down, down, down, down... =) 

this section of 龙水峡地缝 was WET WET WET!!! The waterfall was splashing water EVERYWHERE in our path... Heng, we were well prepared with waterproof jackets and shoes!!! 

we took close to 4 hours to complete both parks... clocked close to 20K steps and were the last 3 back in our mini van... heee 

dropped off @ Raffles City which looks like our MBS.... then found out that it is by CaptiaLand.... no wonder then... 

dinner was a disappointing @ Pizza Hut, food was not hot and took damn long to be served, so unacceptably long that we cancelled two items and left...

heng, yummy pistachio & choco gelato saved the day!!!

phew... it lasted the day!!!

checked out at 11am, flight back to Singapore was at 1050pm... so to 云中漫步 we went... 

total price of our massage was 1054 rmb so we signed up for its membership program @ 1000 rmb (S$187) that gave us free use of this private room that came with a super big TV and private toilet for as long as we needed, free flow of food & drinks & 1.5hrs of full body 推拿 and still have 186 rmb credit left... 😍😍😍

this pretty tea shop that has outlet EVERYWHERE had caught my attention since day 1 in Chongqing but as the weather was too cold, i didnt have any craving for it at all...

decided to follow hf in to look see look see while waiting for check-in and was happy to chance upon its snack deal... bought a full shopping bag home... hf even went back for round two shopping after realising how worthy the deal was!!! 

disappointing Ya Kun as our last meal in Chongqing before we ran ourselves crazy from being REJECTED at custom!!!

Flight was scheduled to depart @ 2250

Gate was scheduled to close @ 2235 

Boarding was scheduled to be @ 2205

we were AT the custom @ 2200 

we WERE checked in by 2130

custom official told us CUSTOM CLOSED!!!

Huh?!?!?!?!

She insisted we were late but we were NOT!!! 

We explained, argued but to NO avail.

We ran back to checked-in counter.

Heng, the staff who checked us in was still THERE!!!

He ran back to custom with us to argue with the custom official and escorted us to carry-on check-in....

We made it! We were NOT late!!! What an exciting end to our trip!!!
