Disappointing experience with food order from AMICI

was enticed to buy this set of restaurant vouchers while at Yishun MRT station on Monday

 i thought it might be worth to use it for the Chuas' August Babies' hatchday meal... 

BUT I AM SO SO SO SO SO WRONG !!! 

First - there wasnt any confirmation or reply to my email order and when i called to check in with them after 48 hours, the staff said that their email system was down the last 2 days and asked me to email him my order.... 

Second - received a call from the staff 2 - 4 hours before the food was to arrive to inform me that the Milo Dinosaur cake that Alfred had chosen wasnt good enough to be delivered and was asked to choose another flavour. 

Third - Although i did know that the delivery time for dinner order was stated to be between 6 to 8pm, i really didnt expect it to be so 'punctual' to arrive at 7.56pm... 

Fourth - the potion of the sides, presentation and the taste of the food was way below my expectaion...

i ordered the Italian Chicken Parmigiana combo meal for 4-5 pax @ $88

i 表错情以为 there would be 4 containers of food arriving.... all of us were shocked and i was mad beyond words when these were what we received... 😡😡😡

we had to dig to find the souv vied buttered asparagus and there were only 2 cut spears of it... 

food was cold, taste was weird mainly because everything seemed to be covered with a mixture of plum sauce from the red cabbage and the napolitana sauce of the crusted garlic chicken... 

we threw away most of it after the first few bites... Angela and Eng Siew saved our tummies with spicy instant noodles, air-fried drumlets & seaweed chicken within 10 minutes... 

6" White Chocolate Cheesecake @ $48 

Fifth - though the taste of the cake was acceptable, i find the placement of the fruits to be very random and very armature for a 500g cake that cost $48... the black berries were rolling all over the cake as we removed the cake from the box and adjusting it on the table for the song + cutting 

the only thing that didnt disappoint were the freebies...

total damage $175.52

($30 for the card + $145.52 for the food)

so disappointed that i wrote my first ever negative review

really dislike the gold highlight which was getting lighter with every wash... so back to the chuas' to seek our in-house stylist 蔡三宝 for help... =) 

(1) Apply hair dye

(2) Wash off + Hair Mask

(3) Blow dry

happy happy to 'meet' up with the JC ladies for an hour plus of chits & chats eventhough we had to do it after 9pm.... we should do this more regularly !!!

super happy to see that the once there bald spot on my right parting is no longer there after changing my parting to the left for the last half a year +/-

shoes of the day...

took this pic cos i was so so so bored from waiting for the KTPH shuttle bus... =S 

took parental care leave to accompany 蔡妈咪 for her half yearly post colon cancer consultation... it was a long long 3 hours wait between blood test to finally seeing the doctor... 

she played mahjong on her phone while i tried to be studious... wahahahaha  

doctor said her cancer marker stats in her blood test stats is GREAT at 2.6 (anything below 5 is SAFE) and that her consultation will be reduced to once a year from next appointment onwards... woohoo... 😍😍😍

1st July (Thurs) 

started on learning the keyboard...

matching the keys to the abcs on the score sheet till i 'mong ca ca'... 索性就把 notes 写在 keys 上.... wahahaha

took one hour plus just to be able to play the first line with the right hand... =S... confirm gonna take longer for the left hand... i wonder how long i will take to be able to play the whole song lo... just hope that i dont give up even before being able to play this one song... =S 

reflection was fun today.... it was on mental well-being... finding joy, happiness, peace in every day life... =D 

we were asked to take a pic of one thing in our immediate environment that will make us happy... turned my head to the left and saw this cutie pie shooting hearts out of her eyes at me (as always) ... 😍😍😍... 

no wonder dogs are considered the most loyal being of all... 谢谢你, 十年了, 对我还是满满的爱... 😍😍😍

then we were given one minute to jot down things that made us happy this week... 

woah... quite a long list within 1 minute ... on top of this... it's Youth Day long weekend + the ladies are coming over this sun... =D 

i'm a happy lady this week...woohoo !!!
