31st December (Sun)

back @ The White Tiffin cos i think 蔡 mummy will like the cafe deco and the food here... took her to see Mr YYC's paintings to let her 回味当年 too... 

mummy had fun pointing out familiar places and interesting features in the paintings too... 

finally tried mixue king cone... i like!!! 

30th December (Sat)

天有不测风云，人有旦夕祸福 bought me and vivian together before going to meet xy... 

had lunch @ The White Tiffin, Esplanade Mrt Station

set of 3; mini laksa + mini mee siam + mini nasi lemak... for people who wants to have it all!!! 😂😂😂

thanks vv for recommending such an interesting foodie place and for this yummy bag of sweets from Japan... 😍😍😍

popped by "I Paint my Singapore" a second time... 

such an inspiring exhibition by local artist, Mr Yip Yew Cheong... luv the details and his narrative behind each of the 27 panels that adds up to 60m long.... 😍😍😍...so much details, so nostalgic, so relatable... 

no pics of the artwork here cos you have to see it with ur own eyes to be awed... 

found the top-up gift for Claire... and we were so lucky to be at the exhibition at the right time.... The artist was in the house and we managed to get him to autograph the book and to take this pic together... 😍😍😍

29th December (Fri)

变落汤鸡的我们...😂😂😂... had brought snowie to the vet just opposite home sweet home for her glaucoma review... what a surprise to see heavy rain after the less than 10 minute review... decided to walk home in the rain as i needed to rush home to close my room window in this thunderstorm else there WILL BE ponding in my room!!! 

met up with the nies ladies for dinner and gift exchange... there's wasnt a budget this year so i just got everyone chocolate... yes i'm that bo-sim when it comes to gifting...so now i want to top-up their gifts cos they gifted me these indulgence.... am blessed with these generous pals & stressed at the same time... 😂😂😂

28th December (Thurs)

first day back in school... got good news, got irritating news but i'm just gonna focus on the good stuff...

back to level 2 staffroom where my cubicle is 50% bigger than the one i had this year... 😍😍😍

back to being a P1 FT... going back to settling innocent nonsensical disputes and mischiefs... 😂😂😂

out of TC... hip hip hooray!!! 🎊🎊🎊

a book from Auntie Fei Mee last September... 

had been wanting to pick up / resume reading as a habit so as to cut down my terrible horrible screen time... original plan was to complete the book then donate it to mwh... 顺便 'declutter' 一下... 

结果捡到宝了... found out that there were suggested extension activities at the back of the book for each of the story... am gonna bring it to school and use it for 2024 relief activities instead... 😍😍😍 

12th December (Tues)

dinner with Zhuan @ Ambush, J8... thanks for the prezzie... the beauty gummy is so yummy!!!... this is one supplement that i confirm will finish... 😂😂😂

Day 1 - 23rd Dec

excited 司马 on the ferry to Batam for our annual 司马 get - away 😍😍😍

闭目养神 - ing for our 3 days 2 nights of 吃吃 喝喝 买买 按按 玩玩 

first stop - lunch @ Love Restoran... affordable seafood and we could pick & choose which fresh catch we wanted to be cooked from the live tanks on display... 😅

the only minus was that there was a free roaming cat which set joyce & desiree on sudden flight mode... their fear was REAL... 😂😂😂 

our driver, Han Sen, recommended this shop for Kueh Lapis... bought an original favour for 蔡妈咪 and she luvs it... 😍😍😍 

really many many people at this shop!!!... can order and the kueh lapis will be baked the night before the day of collection to ensure the freshness of it to bring back to Singapore... 

mummy teo pampered the little teos with new shoes, new bags and this cute gigantic cotton candy at Grand Batam Mall...  which of cos Candy 姨姨 got to enjoy too... 😍😍😍

adult 司马 pampered ourselves with a 90 minute shiok shiok massage & scrub @ GO! massage at only S$31 

ending our day 1 with another seafood meal @ Wey Wey Seafood... it's a cholesterol high high day... 😅😅😅

a 45 minutes drive to our stay for this trip - Batam View Beach Resort 

enjoyed a welcome drink then a buggy ride to our villa

so spacious... i like !!! ... cost about S$200/night during this festive period...

Day 2 - Xmas eve

七早八早就被 隔壁 的 隔壁 的 papa teo 吵起来看日出... 

so peaceful and relaxing.... would have preferred to nua MORE in the villa for this trip... 

always complain that i'm a lousy travel kaki because i dont drink and i cant drive yet she's stuck with me to travel together on a yearly basis... 😂😂😂

our sea view villa was a 2 minute buggy ride away from the lobby... 

First activity of the day after breakfast - GO KARTING !!! 

Team Allie & Candy 姨姨 vs Team Desiree & Mama Teo

150k (S$12.50) for single driver and 250k for double

Nasi Padang lunch @ Sederhana Masakan Padang 

then shopping at Nagoya Hill... so boring 😩😩😩

hair wash + head massage opposite Nagoya Hill... so terrible 😠😠😠

then is meal time AGAIN !!! really is a 吃 吃 吃 trip !!!

happy to be able to buy fireworks... bought this, bought that... in the end, the biggest, prettiest, loudest box of fireworks kenna confiscated by the security guard at the hotel lobby... 😭😭😭

真的老了...joyce & I 强撑着熬到 11pm (12mn Singapore time) to text the group "Merry Xmas, can khoonz lo"... only to be informed by mama teo that papa teo & the two little teos already khoonz lo... wahahaha
