30th Aug (Wed)

2021 P4 chers united for an afternoon of chits & chats over lunch & ice cream... 😍😍😍... 弥补了今年因为 PE 而得缺席的 chers' buffet lunch @ marriot.... 😭😭😭

26th Aug (Sat)

司马's JB 一夜游 started with a yummilicious dinner @ You Kee XO Restaurant @ KSL

movie @ S$5.20 each on a sat night... movie was much better than I expected though i didnt like the cinematic effect that were added to the dance routines... felt that this trailer did the show no justice so will need to re-watch 这就是街舞 season 3 and 4 & also all the Step Up movies to satisfy my dance show 瘾 !!! ... oh, and it did re-ignite my feeling for wang yi bo just a little... he was at the edge of being bum off my list of eye candy celebrities... 😂😂😂

dissatisfying durian before a 2 hours drive back in the middle of the night.... give us ample time to chit & chat & laugh together and also to finally confirmed our year end 司马's holiday destination and who is in charge of booking or researching on what... 😍😍😍

by right supposed to go home have a rest after work before meeting mx for night fest... by left, went for lunch with Julia and chit & chat until it was time to meet mx...

my favourite !!!!.... projection mapping on buildings had became the norm but first time saw it on leaves.... i like the kaleidoscope design effect... 😍

Blessing #1: 

today's TC is in offline individual format = leave morning shift @ 9.30am... went for mac brekkie , took a nap before heading out for afternoon shift...

attended a very insightful & engaging art workshop @ National Galley which may be my big rock for next year's work... 

Blessing #3:

and since i was in town with plenty of energy to spare, gave a shout-out for an impromptu dinner date to these two ladies whose offices are in town... okied to my request even though one was working from home and the other was on leave... thank you for always making time for us since we grad from ntu in 2003... happi 20th anniversary FYP mates!

no more pistachio flavour but that didnt stop xy & i from getting a large cone with 4 scoops of gelato each... 😂😂😂

got activated as a craft vendor today 😂😂😂... accompanied the residents to make mosaic coasters... main job was to wipe wipe wipe to reveal the sparkly gems that got masked by the grout... niam niam + 沙沙 one... 😅😅😅

 it has been years since i signed up for f2f art workshop on my own initiative... saw the potential in this one and was so happy with the ideas and info that were gathered... heee

All the 4 trigger artworks are on the P4 MBL routes and I was so excited to find out that these art carts are on loan to schools... just need to be fastest fingers !!!

inspiration from : Dalam by S Mohdir (Singapore)

"fossilised fish bones and fishes slip between the natural world that we inhabit and the ancient world. The layering of translucent colours and shapes build up into a three dimensional space on a flat surface. Contrasting warm colours like red and orange with cold colours such as blue create an illusion of depth and space. The amorphous and organic shapes construct images of an aquatic world that these fishes inhabit. The title, Dalam means ‘deep’ suggests the deep sea as a world that offers infinite possibilities, a world that humans have yet to explore and understand fully, and hence, a space that provokes imagination for an artist.Dalam adopts the surrealistic pictorial idiom to create an imaginary mindscape of fishes that forms part of his larger oeuvre exploring the natural world." ~ roots.gov.sg

scientific understanding : Understand the relationship between colours and light absorbency and how different colours affect the absorption and reflection of colours.

artistic exploration : explore opaque (construction paper), translucent (tissue paper) & transparent (cellophane) materials to create an artwork informed by their understanding of lights & colours
