26th July (Sat)

16 very lucky and very excited residents together with 5 equally lucky and excited volunteers & 2 staff @ Equal Open Stables Day

all 23 of us got to take pics with Ah Boy & Milo, two of the 6 miniature horses at the stable... so cute!!!!

shopping @ BeKindSG booth, Night At Orchard then dinner @ Song Fa Bak Kut Teh... 😍

it's a happy happy day!!!... received very positive lesson ob feedback from boss this morning.... never see so many + on a lesson ob form before seh!!! please translate it to ka-ching ka-ching... 😎😎😎

then met up with the mcs ladies for a yummilicious and 饱饱 Spanish dinner @ La Taperia, Shaw Centre

cheat code for lesson ob today... 😂😂😂... not a fantastic flowery lesson, didnt ask all the thinking questions that i planned to ask despite the cheat code but still happy that IT'S OVER!!!

another happiness is that i FINALLY overcame my laziness to go for my first 6km walk walk since May!!! =P... 

first day is always the hardest... it will be easier tomorrow (i hope!!!)

an afternoon of table top games, sensory play, movement trail and braiding with special kids, special families and special VIP from the ndp team

i was allocated to assist @ Uniqo's Twine Together booth where participants braided fabric scraps cut from donated unwearables to make bracelets / bookmarks / charms...

the braids can also be donated back to be 加工 by persons with disabilities @ Bizlink into these official keepsakes that are being distributed at The (Singapore) Dream Sphere @ Expo 2025 Osaka till October 2025... 

3/4 of the CJ S7 Ladies with (fun size) August, the VIP for today's program, @ Play.Able, Enabling Village 

every volunteer also received a 2025 NDP pack... i initially didnt wanna take any as i already have enough (& bigger) reusable bags at home for my very occasional supermarket shopping until i saw this lone super duper cute Maple Story NDP 2025 canvas totebag that contained the collaterals that the NDP committee gave to Play.Able... oh, & i took all the left over SG 60 pins too... 😍😍😍

our last 1/4 came to join us for dinner @ Keng Eng Kee Seafood as ZaZa's hatchday meal... 😍😍😍

delivery guys arrived at 6pm, told me their 下班时间 is 6pm and they still had 2 more delivery to do so they were unable to help me dismantle & dispose the crate even when i was already prepared to pay them extra... 

还给我碰到给钱解决不了的问题... 靠人不如看己... one hammer + one screwdriver, ping ping piang piang + 拉拉扯扯了一个小时才把那两粒沙发成功滚进家里... 累死老娘我了 😂😂😂

 been listening to jeo and hf excitedly chirping about their home purchase respectively since sept 2024... tagged along to one of their reno consults, went furniture viewing with them in JB last oct and also mattresses testing in Feb this year... make me so 心痒痒 till i also wanna do an update on home sweet home...

• a new coat of warm white paint

Chua went for a Farmstay

带蔡妈咪去 Y&L Hobby Farm for a stayca... check in was supposed to be at 3pm but our driver was so 'efficient and daring', we reached at 1.40pm... 😅

we were invited into the cafe to enjoy our welcome drinks and waffles 

ice cream, ice cream, yummy stuff !

Alfred went for a dip first and i joined him when the sun was friendlier... 

went for a walk walk around the 'farm' at about 6pm...

a tree house atop a gift shop... they hold foot spa, coffee & tea ceremony workshops here too!!! 

simple steamboat dinner @ 6.30pm that made 蔡妈咪 go 饱饱 饱饱 

bought some snacks & drinks back to our room 

& 蔡妈咪 went into a frenzy when the 老板娘 came to offer us some durian from their own personal harvest... 😂😂😂

an early night for all of us as we didnt take part in their night program of karaoke and mj

rise & shine the next morning !!! 蔡妈咪 luvs the view of the 山山 花花 草草 树树 and asked to come back again!!! Okay!!! Request noted!!!
