while mama went on a holiday with the chuas -1 and +1

order two 4G SIM card online via KLOOK at only S$8.20 each... original price was 299 baht (S$12.60)... collection was super fuss free, there wasn't any queue at the counter and staff helped to set up the cards too... =D

took the airport express rail (5 stops) then transferred to the MRT for one more stop to reach our 4 bedrooms + 2 toilets apartment near Phra Ram 9 station...

a very satisfied Alfred with his 2nd & 3rd plate of salmon... damaged was 599 baht per pax...

as it was still early, we popped by the 7-eleven at our apartment lobby
purpose was to buy potable water, ended up with much much more than that.... wahahahaha

took a break and off we went to Pratunam Night Market
Alfred's first purchase...

interesting truck cafe concept...

Pretty pretty ice-cream @ 80 baht each

a short walking distant away from Pratunam Night Market was the newer Neon Night Market

spotted a pig in one of the cafes, there were snakes, tortoises, guinea pigs, rabbits, porcupines, cats too... didnt really like this cafe as some of the animals were kept in very small containers.... =S

nothing much caught my eyes and these were my only shopping loot from this night market...

this was what i walked into after my bath.... the power of centralized charging ...

My 9th trip to Thailand

Adding another tally to my most travelled to country, but first, let's recap... =D

(1st trip) Dec 2002
first trip to Bangkok was a 'secretly run away trip' with casper, eve and ah niu niu.
it was a 2002 - 2003 跨年 holiday... told my mum that i was having a chalet....oopx.... and got caught cos i was on the same flight back as her friend.... suay to the max.... =S...

(2nd trip) May 2006
a trip with vivian, stayed over at aaron's apartment while he was stationed there for work, robbed him of his king size bed and banished him to sleep on the foldable bed....wahahaha.... was too busy and tired from all the shopping that we din take any photos throughout the trip....

(3rd trip) Feb 2007
with the NIE gals ... the memory of 5 shopaholics squeezing in a hotel room for 3 nights still amuses me... =D

(4th trip) Dec 2008
to Phuket then Bangkok with the 司马家族 and found out on this trip that Joyce's favorite place of visit in BKK was Big C supermarket.. =P

(5th trip) Mar 2009
Phuket with the gals and our favourite activity was 'Jump Wave' as coined by Mab ...

(6th trip) September 2012
shopping trip with Mabel

interesting visit to Maeklong Railway Station on this trip with wai yee & liling where the trains run through a wet market a few times a day

(8th trip) June 2016
first family trip to BKK

And with me on this 9th trip to my most travelled to country; Thailand, particularly Bangkok, this March Holiday are 蔡 mummy, Alfred, Alvin and Prasaad... =D

We are Scooting off at $247 per pax... damn angry as i couldnt locate the AXS option during payment and thus had to pay an additional of $20 processing fee per pax for paying with credit card... =S

accommodation will be in a 3 room apartment near Phra Ram 9 MRT station, 6 MRT stations away from the airport, that cost us $421.21 for 5 pax for 3 nights... equates to approx $28 / night / pax... =D

tentative itinerary is:
Terminal 21, Soi Cowboy, Pratunam Night Market, Little Zoo Cafe, Asiatique, Wat Traimit, Chinatown Sampeng Market, Talad Rot Fai Ratchada Night Market and of cos multiple massages... =D
