Hatchday Celebration @ Rainforest Wild Asia w Mx

a case of same same but different... found out that the elevated walkway at Rainforest Wild Asia that mx had been telling me about for the last 2 weeks wasnt the Mandai Boardwalk that i had in mind only after i had alighted from the shuttle bus... 😅😅😅

since i was early, i decided to walk the 800m between the two places upon seeing the directory signages... surprise oh surprise #1> no more shelter after only about 100m into the walk...

Let's practice positive thinking:

got to clock steps

received a good dose of vitamin D

a chance to see if my new make-up fixer works > It did!

surprise oh surprise #2 > the pathway was blocked off for construction about halfway through?!?!?! heng the road next to it had NO traffic...

it took me a long while to realise that i was the only person walking along this stretch not because it was at 4pm in the afternoon but because this road / pathway may not be opened yet?!?!?!?!...

the good news was i completed the walk and reached where i should be at, though a little late... it would be worse if i had to walk back right?!?!?! 😂😂😂

Finally in Rainforest Wild Asia

Spotted a Bambi !!!

so exciting.... it came so near to the edge of the boardwalk!!!

reminded me of the 毛毛 feel of the deer's antlers in Nara

no entry sign for us into the deer's territory but free for the deer to exit and come join us on the boardwalk, though none came... =S

mx looked so cute in her ranger hat... 😊

yup yup... to exploring more places together... 😍😍😍

not as scary as i thought it would be... it's like a prelude to bungy jump... the freefall part seemed to last less than 5m followed by a controlled drop for the remaining height?!?!?!...
