they really laid down on almost every mattress and could feel the difference between the comfy & firmness level between them... power...

am just super blessed that my post-procedure consultation was rescheduled to today where i could download all my whining about the endless cramps & gas & poor appetite & the swings between constipation and diarrhea since the procedure two weeks ago !!!...
晴天霹雳 when Dr said that it's the usual side effects and would last for a monthsince my fibroids were massive!!! 😭😭😭... 早知道就把整个窝 剪了 丢了 一了百了... 😡😡😡

a super happy 蔡妈咪 with the duck lugged back from JB...
spent the morning with the residents, 2x 财神s and 2x cute pinky lions...
then met up for Jas' hatchday lunch @ Lou Shang... we were seated along the corridor outside old old flats!!!... very interesting cafe set-up but not conducive for long conversations due to the enclosed noise so we headed over to Typhoon, PS instead for more chits & chats over souffle & 美人茶...
happened that our going home time coincided so mx and I reconvened for another 2 hours of catch ups @ Junction 8
blessings from mx... 我也感恩有你... 😍😍😍
last stop of the day > cheng san library... where i got a little too ambitious for the next two weeks of HL... 😂😂😂

by right, i have a scan today but as my relief was on 4 days ML due to a rare eye infection since monday, i rescheduled my appointment so as to cover his/our classes... regretted being a '好人' when i saw today's relief plan... on top of his/our 4 periods, i was allocated another 4.5 periods... faint!!! 早知道就乖乖去 scan 了... 不止可以晚起, 还不会这么累... 😅

went for treatment @ Two Herbs... i'm so so thankful that my hair is back or should i say...i'm so thankful that my hair decided to stay on my head... also luv the multiple nuggets of head massage at the various stages of today's treatment... a bonus when there arent many customers on a weekday afternoon... 😍😍😍
Two Herbs, highly recommended!!! i could feel the effect within the first session... the number of strands that i see in my hand per brush through decreased tremendously...
most importantly, they dont hard sell at all nor promote their packages... a poster on the different promotions was at the cashier counter and i had to ask them about it... very reasonable pricing even without the package deal and when i had to go for once a week treatment for the first month!!!... now i only go once in 2 months!!!... 😂😂😂
One day, year end, 2022... i felt a pebble hard lump in my 窝 during one of those irritating, annoying, disgusting, menacing painful days that many of my gender have to suffer through on a monthly basis...
another agonising day, beginning year 2023, i felt the pebble again and it felt bigger!!!... hmmm... 掐指一算... realised that because of covid coupled with my max level of procrastination, it had been 3 years since i went for my free yearly body check up @ Raffles Hospital... hurried made an appointment only to be informed that the earliest possible date was 5 months later in August... free 的东西就是这样咯 !!!...
i also didnt have the sense of urgency... slowly slowly went for checks & scans, slowly slowly waited for report, slowly slowly took the report to polyclinic to request for a referral only in November... polyclinic doctor saw my report, immediately put me on iron pills as my iron counts was at a ridiculously level of 8... normal level for women is between 12 to 16... 😅😅😅
and i got an appointment at kkh within a week, which worried me a little... base on my experience with 蔡妈咪's multiple medical conditions, anything too fast with public hospital is always no good news!!! one thing led to another and then I had 7 appointments of blood tests, scans & consults within the 6 weeks of school holiday that year end!!!
final result out beginning of last year > i have 5 huge growth, each the size of a tennis ball, in my 窝... opted for hysterectomy which would put me on 6-8 weeks of HL as i had to go through the full cut across, removal and recovery just like a cesarean birth procedure as the stickiness of my organs wouldnt allow a keyhole surgery to do its due...
but doctor also said that it wasnt urgent urgent to have the procedure immediately as the growth shouldnt be cancerous and so i decided that this could wait till the end of last year or beginning of this year so that it doesnt disrupt my holiday plans and my work for the year... most importantly, i wasnt mentally prepared to go through such a major op with such short notice...😅😅😅
all scans result only have a 6 months validity so i had to repeat my scans last November, closer to the planned surgery date in Jan this year... by a stroke of luck and blessings from all around, this second scan result was viewed by another doctor whom suggested an alternative procedure, embolization - injecting particles to block the arteries that have been feeding their growth, starving them to death, hopefully within 3 months... this procedure would be much less invasive (yeah!), much less risky (yeah! x2) and would put me on 2 week HL only (not so yeah!... 😅😅😅)
anyway, arrangement was made... first step, sent my 宝贝 小老太婆 to the chuas for her stayca with her favourite ah yee...
then admitted myself in a day after on 10 Feb
took height & weight... happy with my new height of 1.65m... maybe my pom pom hair helped abit... 😂😂😂
disgusted with my weight of 56.8kg... hopefully each of my tennis ball weighs 1kg.... wahahahha
4 days 3 nights stay @ 4321, kkh... wonder what the bill will be like... sincerely hope 养了十多年的 AIA Gold dont disappoint me seh!!!
*update : it didnt disappoint... only need to pay $225 in cash... 😍😍😍

first meal of the stay... quite yummy and heart the heart!!!... so cute!!!
procedure was at 9.30am the next morning with prep starting at 6am... 😴😴😴
these two crosses stayed on for way too many days!!! couldnt get them off even with soap & scrubbing!!!
impressed with the air pressure dressing that pressed onto the mini incision sites which looked like cat scratch marks... 😂😂😂
told everyone not to visit but these two managed to estimate the timing so well that they caught me in the 1 hour between my first wake after the procedure and before i started knocking myself out with morphine due to the pain...
had a high fever that night that resulted in me being quarantined and had to change ward for being a danger to the other two patients who were having their chemotherapy...
they removed my morphine supply at exactly the 24 hour mark after the procedure and continued to drug me with more painkillers... 😂😂😂
