it's a vast changes which i fear, hate & 怨 yet forced to accept year...
i'm a self-proclaimed tech 'dinosaur'... been taking super teeny tiny mini steps in using tech in my classes by starting with Quiver app for the P2 last year and adding on by using Seesaw app for peer critic with my P4 this year...
then came covid-19 leading to full home base learning in April followed by absolutely no intermingling and having to stay in the classroom for art lessons from June onwards, i became tech savvy enough to use SLS for all my lessons and i grew to love it especially for the upper primary lessons where self-directed learning is achieved many levels up... =)
after an unexplainable change in his thinking towards us in April 2018, we had our very first confrontational episode in our 9 years together which led to him wanting an end and an out... hopping to give him space for logic thinking, i returned to woodlands, he asked me to come home a day later, he then left 2 weeks after, disappeared for 7 months, came back for 2 weeks, left again after 2 weeks, disappeared once more for 4 months, came back for the 3rd time, stayed for 9 months and left for the final time this February...
and as per always, i was forced to accept whatever outcome he wanted, even when the way he did it was based on 2 pages of lies which were used to terminate our relationship within the shortest time possible as his next wife-to-be was already pregnant... i'm utterly embarrassed and ashamed for once having him as my Mr... din even bother to defend, that's how indifferent i have become because of his uselessness...
i forgave him again and again for his impulse, for his betrayal, yet got trashed again and again... he had allowed himself to become the type of man which he himself despised and mocked at when he was in his early 20s...
we used to think that i was brave to invest my prime in a blue chip him because he was smart, hardworking, and committed in our relationship... so i didnt mind being the main contributor for our little home sweet home despite having the whole chuas' expenses on my pay check...
it turned out that i was naïve and that you are actually an empty shell... you never took the initiative to take over or share the home expenses even when you started working, you would declare that your take home salary was less than mine even though you were earning much more than me with all your tuition assignments... and when finally your salary was comparable, you rather spend thousands on your tattoos, thousands on driving a branded car every month... you claimed that what you have would be kept for more holidays for us, to invest in a better future for us ... this future never came...
your self-centeredness & lack of responsibility as a husband was there right from the start or it was even earlier when you ignored the financial stress that i had during our resale flat purchase... 25k of cov + 32k of reno all on me... loving you really did blind me...
you taught me never to trust promises anymore... no matter how rosy the current situation is... no matter how sincere the promises are... no matter how much love there is at the beginning...
i wish you a long life...
the pups are a good 9.5 years old which made them senior dogs liao... due to severe cataract, snowy is sleeping even more than she used to... and because she cant really find her way about, she resorts to peeing anywhere and everywhere as and when she feels like it... and of cos brownie will follow suit lo...
brownie underwent an emergency op just this month... everything is fine now but the day of the op was a day of roller coaster emotions which made me re-think if i should have other pets after their passing... the connection, fear, love, heartache is no joke too...
the only area where everything is calm & stable this year is 蔡家... thank god...
nah... the official merchandises; t-shirt, mask & iron on patches didnt make economical & environmental sense to me cos i wont use any of them...
Since all proceeds from the sale of official merchandises will be distributed to participating Social Service Agencies, Charities, Charities with IPCs and Co-operatives, i think it still make sense that i support any one of them directly...
browse, browse, browse through all of them and eventually ordered 50 test-tubes of bath salt from MIJ Special Education Hub.
received on 14 Nov to be distributed to friends and family this xmas...=)
made 50 of the 220 appreciation cards that were packed into a care pack with mixed nuts packs, coffee capsules and tea wands to appreciate the staff at MINDS on 8 October.
helped to make the 15 cards, packed together with mini dried flower bouquets and biscuits, given to patients receiving dialysis at Bukit Batok Dialysis Centre on September 7.
Bag 2: Yes, can also use any other non NDP tote bag ... i gave up my "Drawing from the Right Side of the Brain" bag...
did double good cos the biscuits were bought from Kindness Mart, an online supermarket social enterprise which uses its proceeds to aid the vulnerable and needy in Singapore... while the rest of the items were re-gifts... =P
one of Zhuan's birthday wishes this year was to donate 25% of her home-baking business (@ohmyappetite) revenue in July & August to Rainbow Centre & SPCA clinic...
so to show some friend friend support, i ordered her yuzu lime cake as the birthday cake for the Chuas' August babies... =)
it was part of the 1000 care packs which the members of Autoimmune Diseases Singapore have prepared to thank the healthcare staff that have been supporting them since they were first diagnosed...

ordered these from Metta Cafe for my neighbour.... was never a neighboury gifting kind of person but my neighbour bought us an expensive box of kueh lapis for CNY this year so decided to return the favour.... but then, the power of my procrastination and the lack of enthusiasm of approaching strangers to offer kind acts face to face changed the whole intention... i gave one to the delivery guy, one to Jannah, finished two bottles myself... =P

The staff at BVH took really good care of mum during her 6 weeks stay last Oct-Nov and even till now when mum goes for her outpatient consultation and medication collection so I am really happy to chance upon this "Kind Packages" Project that BeKindSG prepared for them... =)
doing my mini part to support our local F&B social enterprises, Crunchy Teeth. It is formed by a group of parents whose aim is to equip autistic youth with baking skills so that they can gain employment and be active participants in society.
Order 30 individually packed Easter Egg Sea Salt Butter Cookies and had them delivered to school.
along came a handmade Easter card created by one of their crew member ... Thank You!
all so cute.... fyi, the 'slippers' look alike designs are actually bunnies with their faces covered by the stickers.... wahahaha...
distributed the cookies to colleagues and kept one for the mrt uncle @ farrer park station who is ever so friendly and smiley ... brightens my every morning on my way to school.. =P

the event caught the attention of the media and our school name was highlighted... =)
in my effort to go greener, today marked the first time that i brought my own containers to tabao our sat's lunch.... save $0.60, 3 plastic bags, 2 plastic straws, 2 paper bowls with 2 plastic lids... =D
now that i am more conscious about going green, this many pieces of single-use plastic in just one meal for two take-aways do 'shout' that i need to be even more hardworking in bringing my own food containers out...
but the mr commented he would very much preferred his kopi siew dai in the usual plastic bag with a straw.... =S
surgery wound healed well... her daily vomiting stopped on 25 dec, she has been eating willingly since 26 dec, she puts on 300g since her discharge on 18 dec, , she's hyper active... Dr Loh said inflammation is controlled but blood test result shows that her liver & gall bladder are still not functioning well so have to continue 2 of her medication, up dosage for 1, till her next review in mid-jan... her medical fee alone this month amounted to $4800++... please 🙏🙏🙏 快快好起来, 妈咪的口袋吃不消了... =S

but on the good note, Brownie has completed the required dosage for 2 of her medicine... left with 6 per feed, 2 feeds per day... =)
went for a hair cut and did colour treatment to my hair just because i 'found' this in my cupboard during pre-home improvement program spring cleaning...
woah.... the colour looks happening seh...
but as can see... NO EFFECT on dark hair one... maybe did cover up the white hairs though.... wahahahaha.... changed my parting to hide my balding spot too... =S
got inspired by Laurice and decided to do a A2 xmas painting for the xmas corner... went youtube to look for demo video and this was my favourite... =)

couldn't take the persistent layer of dust on the floor despite wiping the floor 2 - 3 times every day since 3 days ago so bought myself a pair of house slippers from Daiso... =)
hopefully it can last till the whole block is done with the home improvement program.

deep cleansing of our 10 year old mattress @ $90 from Apex Hygienic SG Cleaning Service... super happy cos it means i can finally sleep on my comfy comfy king size bed tonight liao... =D
finished cleaning the kitchen & the common toilet...woohoo... the whole house is finally cleaned !!! never did so much cleaning & re- cleaning in my life before lo...

3 medicine feedings a day is like 3 rounds of wrestling match with her and each round can last up to 45 minutes... she is super uncooperative, will try to wriggle out of my embrace, will clamp her mouth tight, will 'phew' out the medicine and will splitter splatter the medicine all over me & the floor... =S
but the good side is, she is finally eating a little bit... =D
managed to clean my room and the living room... and even set up a little xmas corner (again)... =P

Painters finished painting home sweet home in ONE day... so pups & I moved home lo... =)
started my 大扫除 at 8.30pm... cleared out the bigger room first while the pups were confined to their travel bag bag... then they were let out while i cleaned the other rooms...
the retired storeroom door did a fabulous job at keeping the pups away from the huge amount of dust in all the other parts of home sweet home...
cleaned till 4am, bathed in my newly decorated toilet then slept on the sofa as the deep cleansing wash for the mattress was scheduled to be on Monday (21/12)...
kitchen, common toilet, master bedroom, living room floor are still super duper dusty... had to walk around in the house in my slippers... 😭😭😭

HIP started in neighbour's house liao... which meant that there is non-stop drilling today & tomorrow from 8am to 6pm...
我那无奈的脸... =S
these two have grown accustomed to the drilling noise liao... they have been camping in this corner since i shifted the bed a few weeks back... thinking of buying a carpet for this small section so that the both of them can sleep more comfortably but their anywhere & everywhere peeing habit recently is making me think and rethink and re-re-rethink... =S
assembled the steps bought to aid the pups up & down the bed but after training them for 10 minutes... i think this will eventually be a decorative shelf... =S
mx had requested for birthday cards for the residents for the January birthday celebration @ the Home...
made these with the techniques (markers / wax resist using oil pastels & watercolour / origami etc) that i can recommend to all my kiddos for their 2021 Term 1 HBL ...
it will be a VIA Art module + competition to create the most number of cards + FB mention + via SLS... woah... kill 5 birds with 1 stone... wahahaha...
then came home to add in the well-wishing messages and hatchday doodles in the birthday cards which mx had tasked me to complete...
