Ready for Home Improvement Program (HIP)

4 days before HIP starts

the least important stuff in home sweet home are covered up first... 

sealed both the rooms off with just one plastic sheet.... wahahaha

that's it... cos i need access to all other areas in the house... =)

the day before HIP starts

had arranged for the whole house to be repainted immediately after HIP so have to clear all the stuff that were hanging on the walls too... 

took down all the watercolour artwork prints in the living room which i started collecting since our honeymoon to Italy & Greece and on most of our travels thereafter... 

goodbye multi-purpose tree ... u didnt do a good job as a 风水 tree to keep the family everlasting but u did well as my xmas tree & 吉子树... =）

unplugged my 小红椅... and removed all the xmas decor on top of the storage cabinet... 

barang barangs on the left for our 2 weeks staycation @ the chuas... =D

dinning table not important cos i have been eating either at the stone table or the work table anyway... 

emptied out the common toilet

bye bye to the get dirty easily floor tiles you insisted on...  

bye bye obiang wall paper which you chose... 

moved all my work desk barang barang to the dinning table and used one plastic sheet to cover them up together with the fridge... i dont dare to cover the back of the fridge... fear that the heat from the motor might melt the plastic and caused a fire... =S 

taped up the kitchen area after dinner... 

only 3 places were left uncovered:

(1) rubbish chute - cos i still need to throw rubbish... duh

(2) my toilet - need to wash up tmr morning before handing the house over to the contractor

(3) our sleeping area for the night... hee 

bye bye to the leaves decal too... decal does cheapen the look of the house hor??? 

so so so tired.... =P

HIP start day

woke up at 730am to wash up and to clear my toilet of everything possible... =) 

bye bye bathing boy... ;P

had to tape up the rubbish chute area and the sofa area too but before i could finished, the team of 'destructors' arrived to assess home sweet home at 8.10 am... 

and everything happened very fast, in less than half an hour, i was 'chased' out of the house by the noise, the dust, the messiness of the whole house... 

i super 佩服 those people who could stay in the house while the HIP program is going on... =S

Looking forward to see home sweet home after the toilet upgrade & especially so after the painting ... heee
