surprise of the day: Mummy started conversing in English... her vocab include "today, tomorrow, i want you, dont have la"... a good start although she couldnt complete her sentences due to limited vocab.... jiayou mummy....

7 October
her first complete sentence since her stroke... short & sweet.... mummy said she likes me.... happiness....
9 October
made a trip to TTSH just because doc wants to use their eyes to 'LOOK AT' mum before they hold the discussion next week to access if she's still suitable to go for her op... the whole 'looking at' and explaining today's visit lasted less than 10 minutes...
seriously??? cant they ask for an update from Bright Vision Community Hospital who is monitoring mum and doing rehab and physio with mum every day?!?!?!
we were told to make another trip to TTSH after their discussion next week for another consultation... each trip cost us $60 ambulance charges and $30 hospital consultation fee.... i seriously think that today's trip is not necessary... =S
happy mummy with her chawanmushi
11 October
she chomped down the banana... i had to stop her and insist that she swallow those in her mouth first before she can take another bite... =S she was very happy to enjoy a quarter cup of honey green tea from koi (no toppings) too ... =P
was happy that she was very interested in the book.... practice some of the common words with it and hope that the many pictures can help her to express herself better ...
