can tell from my megawatt smile how happy i was that Joyce and uncle YC popped over with fried chicken and wine for lunch.... wahahaha
yeah to mastering the art of clocking 10k step a day even without stepping out of the house... =P
9th June (Wed)
a trip down memory lane to get lunch for the week... wahahaha...
i didnt know that the wet market + food centre that the chuas had our breakfast EVERY SUNDAY when i was in primary school, secondary school and JC goes by this name till today... wahahaha... we always just call it the 226 market or the ang mo kio 虾面 food centre...
蔡老爸's favourite prawn noodle stall is still surviving ... just not open at 2pm on a Wednesday ... the nasi lemak stall is still surviving too... the 豆花水 stall a few stalls to the left is also surviving... =) 💪💪💪... 鸭粥 stall just before the 豆花水 stall not there already... =S
this area was packed with street peddlers selling medicated oil, pots and all sort of kitchen appliances during those times and 蔡妈咪 would 'park' me here when she went shopping shopping at the wet market after our breakfast... i remember listening in awe as the street peddlers boasted about how amazing and magical and invincible their products were... =P
it's still Dr Vida, our Indian family doctor who speaks perfect Mandarin... but looking at her full name now, no wonder she speaks Mandarin, her dad is Chinese...

received my first NTUC delivery cos i planned to avoid the whole hougang square for the next few weeks...
this cost me $83.84
4th June (Fri)
a fury of messages came in 七早八早-ing...
oh no!!! ... went ntuc 4 times, tabao dinner 3 times so though it's voluntary and not mandate, i got it done...swab virgin no more... wahahahaha
made the wise decision to run out of the park the moment i felt the first few droplets of rain so by the time it turned into a downpour, i was already at the nearest bus stop... heee
3rd June (Thurs)
feeling great after my 10k step walk walk... saw quite a number of people roller blading at the park... very tempted to pick up roller blading again but travelling from hougang to east coast park seems like a chore... =S
the pups came home from grooming looking like mini air stewardesses... so cute!!!
box of love arrived!!! my 2nd purchase... super worth it... 10 packs for $35 including delivery... it's usually selling at $5.40/pack or $9 for 2 during promotion @ NTUC...
also received the kindness craft daisy art kit with a sweet sweet card from mx in the mail box... 😍
