round 1 of happi mummy's day @ home (집 - jip) just because we no like to queue nor squeeze with the crowd outside... heee
and on this day, our precious mummy submitted a request to go batam to eat seafood... must have gotten the inspiration from Alfred's recent trip there (거기 - geo gi) ... a plan for a stayca in JB was formulated instead for ease of transport and better food (음식 - eum sik) choices and Alvin & wifey were arrowed to make sure this trip happens for all of us... 😂😂😂
17th May (Fri)
round 2 of happi mummy's day cos it's a chua's tradition to celebrate all special days with a great feast together (함께 - ham kke) and 蔡妈咪 chose Ben Yeo's Tan Xiang Fish Steamboat over 8 Crab...
the 80s wet market (시장 - si jang) deco was meh but the food (음식 - eum sik) was top notch... 赞不绝口 for EVERY SINGLE DISH, including the chilli...😂😂😂
silky smooth steamed egg (알 - al) with la-la
tender, juicy crispy garlic chicken (닭고기 - dalk go gi)... i had 4 pieces...
total 3kg of crab (게 - ge)... very fresh, plump, juicy and the flesh can be easily removed from its shell... yummmzzzz
huge fresh, plump, juicy, prawns in herbal soup... so many that we tabao 6 prawns home...
we also had the red grouper steamboat, asparagus and green dragon veg... all very yummy too (맛있는도 - mat iss neun to)... really is every dish also super yummy!!!
satisfied chuas who agreed that the hefty price of $573 was worth it ... 👍👍👍
