Home Sweet Home 3.0

 been listening to jeo and hf excitedly chirping about their home purchase respectively since sept 2024... tagged along to one of their reno consults, went furniture viewing with them in JB last oct and also mattresses testing in Feb this year... make me so 心痒痒 till i also wanna do an update on home sweet home...

happily 'morphing' home sweet home 3.0 in my head!!! 

as of today (10 July 2025), i wanna / i have :

All Areas : 

• polish marble flooring
• a new coat of warm white paint 
• remove aircon 
• update switches placement

Living Room : 

• room 3 whiteboard to work area
• remove wall shelves, tv console, big-S tv, door bell, magnetic door stopper, curtain rods 
• room 1 cabinet as tv console  
• swop work area with massage chair (done - 15 Apr '25)
• new work chair @ $46.66 (bought - 14 Apr '25) 

• rainbow door mat for main & toilet doorway @ $7.83 each (bought - 13 May'25)

• new lights (55 x 55cm @ $81)

• 2 + 1 sofa set @ $865 + $739 (bought - 5 Jun '25)  

• sofa covers @ $52.87 (bought - 15 Jun '25) 

Bedroom 1 & 2 : 

• change the water system for room 1 toilet 
• remove divider
• remove cabinet cos want to remove aircon??? 

Bedroom 3 :

• new mattress on separated old bedframe??? 
• remove cabinets & (2x) ceiling lights 
• hanging lights for dressing area 
• blinds? curtains? 
• grey furry carpet at full length mirror area 
• curtain (85 x 200cm each) as 'wardrobe door' @ $16.34 each 

• pole system @ $34.68 (bought - 22 Apr '25)

• shelving cabinets @ $69.54 (bought - 26 Apr '25)

• full length mirror @ $41.97 (bought - 26 Apr '25)

• floor lamp for bed @ $28.05 (bought - 7 Jun '25)

Kitchen : 

• pets corner to replace dinning area
• change / update kitchen flooring with groutless flooring 
• exchange white & metal assist bars btw the toilets 
• living room lights to kitchen + align into a straight line
• change window handles 
• cement base for washing machine 
• gear up and change the sink in the common toilet 
• buy airfryer??? buy microwave??? 

Give away / throw :

• mj table, dinning table & bench (Jeo took - June '25)
• room 2 big whiteboard
• foldable tables (x4) & foldable chairs (x6)
• king mattress (throw ?? wash???)
• brown sofa (thrown on 10 July - thank you town council ppl)
