Chunyang's Hatchday Surprise

had invited chunyang for his early hatchday hike where he got to decide the hiking trail based on my condition that there shouldn't be direct sunlight shinning on us... wahahahaha... i think Thor heard my condition too cos he blessed us with perfect weather the whole morning... drizzling, cooling, not humid... BEST !  

got picked up at 6.30am on a Saturday morning to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, somemore it was the first day of the school holiday... =S

xiuting popped up as the first surprise of the day... and with umbrellas in hands, we strolled for 2 hours+ on the 1.95km migratory bird trail.... wahahaha... 

trying very hard to spot the crocodile which made a big big splash that stirred up all the mud from the riverbank... FAILED... so we made spotting a crocodile as our KPI for the day... 

love the natural (not pathed evenly nor boarded) yet not totally natural (muddy soil) trail... 

at least 50% of these two's conversations were on their kids... i'm glad and proud that my friends are such involved fathers...and i'm glad i can still join in their conversation about kids though i have no kids on my own... =D

Bedroom Beautification - To Buy & To Do

painter came for house inspection and only allowed me to choose a total of 3 colours for the cheapest package i chose; 2 for the walls to go with white for the ceiling... 

am quite sure about using Rayon as the accent wall colour but am having second thoughts on Mobe Pearl for the rest of the walls... hmmm... 

[ Pup's Corner ]

a 180cm by 60cm space appeared when we shifted the white cabinet into the sleeping haven... 左向右想, decided to convert the vacant space into a pups' corner ... 

 

surf surf surf, browse browse browse and this version 1 plan was more or less quite confirmed before i went to bed on 20 Nov... 

but by the time i officially got off bed the next morning, the 草图 in my mind had evolved to reuse the 2 empty customized filing cabinets made for his work area 10 years back ...

the pups would rather sleep on the cold cold marble floor next to the bed even after repeated introduction to the cushions in the shelf... =S

this piece of wall will also be in the accent colour, Rayon... so will be decorating it with mainly white frames i guess....

because of 风水, the whole room is yellow, very yellow, too yellow... 

because of bad taste, the wallpaper is as such... 

because of not wanting to spend too much on reno, we kept the obiang to the max marble tiles which i have a love-hate relationship with when we moved in 10 years ago... 

hates the translucent glass wardrobe door... no matter how neat the inside of the wardrobe is, it still looks very messy from the outside... =S

but the HIP is really too cheap to resist ... to upgrade one toilet, including waterproofing the whole space, replacing the toilet bowl, basin, wall tiles, floor tiles, window vent and installing a grab bar and aluminium bi-fold door only cost $375... it goes against my cheap thrill nature to say no... =P
