took the JR Nara Line Rapid Service from Kyoto station and 44 minutes later, we reached NARA station.... would have cost us 710¥ (S$7.70) each if not for our beloved JR pass ... =)

Nara is famous for its free roaming deers... =)
pretty pretty manhole cover in Nara
the first deer we saw

the shines in the park
gated toilet to prevent the deer from intruding our privacy... heee

we saw many people feeding the deer with crackers but we couldn't find any sellers/ crackers shops despite asking for directions twice....
this piece of deer cracker was given to us by a super sweet Caucasian boy when i asked him where did he buy his crackers from.... he told us that he had bought them from other places and he was willing to give us 2 pieces .....so sweet of him hor???.... but i think it wasnt very nice of us to deprive him of the joy of feeding the deer so i took only one to be shared among the 4 of us... mum refused to go too near to the deer...

and with crackers in hand, deer came!!!!

the layer of fats on the pork literally melt in my mouth lo..... so yummiliously delicious max.... |
also love the free-flow of ice-water here and in almost every restaurant... =)
as it was still early, 蔡 mummy suggested checking out the supermarket at Nara station before heading home... and we spent a total of 9000+¥ (S$100) on getting snacks....
see.... each of us had a huge bag of snacks... Obviously mum was very happy with her loot while alvin couldnt comprehend how did he end up spending the most at the supermarket... wahahahaha.... |
