Day 7 in North Korea - International Friendship Exhibition, Temples & Metro ride

a building where all the gifts from all over the world for the 3 Kims and their wives are displayed...

no pic of all the treasures that were on display cos we were allowed in with NOTHING except the clothing we had on our body... no phones, no watches, no shades, no bags, no pouches, no wallets, no money, no keys, even the elders' walking sticks had to be exchanged into their in-house kind... think they watched too much 007 to think that we were capable of doing whatever they thought we would do... =S

it was in this building where we had to walk in single file, line up in 3 rows then bow to the first 2 kims' and the first wife's wax statues which were displayed individually in 3 separate rooms...

then we were brought back to the ground floor to collect our stuff before being led to the gift shop which came with an ancient style chill out corner...

enjoying the view with partner while others went to the souvenir shop... but really nothing to buy one leh.... =S

Then we visited a compound with temples and lots of greens

Selfie of the day... the only day where there wasn't a need to be in my jacket... =)

the usual zi char lunch at this hotel above

Much excited about was this visit to the metro station

upset that we didn't need to purchase our own ticket nor were we given a ticket for keepsake... we went in through a side gate.... =S

i started recording at least 20 seconds after i stepped onto this escalator and 1 minute+ into the video and we were still no where near the bottom...read that it will take 3 and a half minute from end to end ...  that's how freaking deep this metro tunnel is.... also read that this escalator has a vertical height of 64 metres which is like 20 floors into the ground la...

joined the uncle in 'reading' the news of the day... heee

train's here!!!

and we were allowed on board for just 1 stop... i am assuming it's because these 2 stations were the newest and the most decorated one... the rest of the stations could be very meh!!! ... =P

that's Miss Lee, our singapore tour guide in the background... =D

luv catching elderly showing care & love to each other in these simple acts.. =)

Dinner on a River Cruise

Great view of the city..... seeing can be believing.... yet it can be deceiving too.... =P
