mx invited me on a romantic sunset cable car ride as part of my hatchday celebration... 

to dusk @ Mount Faber we went for my hatchday dinner but first > take pics !!!

PAM celebrates Children's Day in JB

we upgraded from JB day trip kakis to JB one night stayca kakis to celebrate this Children's day... we took the 5 mins train in and stayed @ this apartment right above KSL that can sleep 10 pax... total of 5 king size beds; 2 in the living room and 3 in the other 2 bedrooms... 👍👍👍

i was 厅长 for the night cos i refused to move from my comfy position after our into the wee morning chits & chats... 😅😅😅

we had such an exciting lift encounter that made me realise that i was in very safe hands with these two ladies. Even without any communication among the three of us; the one learning boxing was ready to punch while the other one learning muay thai was ready to kick the 2 'suspicious' men who entered the lift before us yet had their access-card declined... 

i could only gave instruction for us to turn right (the opposite direction to our apartment which was the only one on the left) when the lift door opened... we entered our apartment only after ensuring that the lift had went down with the two men inside... after some thoughts, we concluded that the two men must had been in the wrong lift as each lift only served a few units per level and there are 6 lifts for each block... but still praise us for being very alert albeit overly paranoid... 😂😂😂... 

Dinner @ Chef Yew Restaurant, KSL (MYR$216.05 = S$67.18)... food was yummy and definitely worth it given that we had prawn, fish, veg, fried rice and also sharkfin...  

Brunch from Nimmies ... 

the pastries were pretty and interesting to look at but service was meh... we scanned the qr code to queue for a table... there were 21 in queue before us so we decided to ta-bao the food back to our apartment... the cashier could see us three waiting at this corner below yet when the food was ready and placed next to the cashier counter to be picked up, he didnt bother to call out to us 😓😓😓... 

and when we exited the cafe with our food, we saw that there was NO more queue, yet the app didnt alert us at all... else we would have change our mind to dine in instead... 😓😓😓

i stunned many many bit when i saw the bill at MYR196.10 (S$61.30)... too expensive for my liking and the pastries were too hard for my liking too... will not recommend...

the Teos were also in JB for a stayca so we met up for dinner at Restoran Sing so that i could hitch a ride back to woodlands

yummilicious lok lok that we took and took somemore... i think we had 5 big plates of skewers...also had the lala soup that was so good that even those who do not eat lala gave praises for the broth... the crayfish was so so only though... 

the main objective for this trip was to check out the furniture shops in JB as the two ladies are newly minted house owners... 👏👏👏... we went to a total of 5 and my eye favourite but pocket least favourite > Big Brain...

sales-person was very professional and patient, not pushy at all... the furniture here is really unique and pretty on their own and also because of their aesthetic display... 😍😍😍

ideal for a movie room... but aircon must be on 24/7 to maintain the softness of the fabric... 

2nd favorite > Boo Furniture 

each of these wooden bearbrick and kaw is at MYR 2k

all the furniture shops required us to change into bedroom slippers... so 麻烦 given that i was in my sneakers... 😅

30th Sept (Mon)

cannot believe that my tastebud didnt dislike kopi-o kosong... had a mug of hot one for breakfast and a glass of iced one for lunch... hurray to lesser milk + sugar in my beverages... 

finally back to hardcopy reading after completing at least 3 trashy online 小说s in the last few months... doesnt matter that  i borrowed these books from the children's section... Oscar inspired a graduation drawing project for my sixes oh!!!

29th Sept (Sun)

appreciate the farewell gifts... you have been a joy to teach... AL1 or 2 is a definite achievable if you write all the necessary keywords and not 'in your own words' oh... 💪💪💪 

28th Sept (Sat)

a ridiculous 1.5 hours wait for chagee while waiting for michelle @ citysquare, jb... 😓😓😓... dont understand the hype... no chewy chewy topping... never again... 

but still a great day cos painted pretty nails @ Nobelle Nail House, enjoyed an amazing 1.5 hours full body traditional massage @ Bangkok Spa & had Michelin dinner @ Hai Kah Lang... 😍😍😍

the night ended with cy to the rescue @ Marsiling Mrt in exchange for a supper treat cos no more public transport on my final leg home by the time we reached Singapore and my phone batt was @ 4% flat... 

conclusion: jb day trip cannot start in the afternoon... 😂😂😂

one-readieans having lots of giggles with seeing ma & el chers in couple attire... this shade of green is so pretty that at least 5 of us (me, QY, Michelle, YL, Anny) @ work have a dress in this colour... 😍😍😍

23rd Sept (Mon)

happi hatchday 最小的土豆... though being the tallest and the most handsome looking among the 7 土豆s, he 垫底 in my ranking cos his 物料 are the most boring... 😂😂😂

22nd Sept (Sun)

dinner @ Shabu Sai after shopping for 蔡妈咪...couldnt fit into one table so we split the non-wagyu vs the wagyu... 😂😂😂

20th Sept (Fri)

I know i'm luved when i received two breakfast today... thanks Julia for the ham & cheese sandwich and Qiyi for mac brekkie... 爱你们哦...😍😍😍

really is much thanks to the double breakfast that provided the energy needed to set up this year's last art exhibition @ The Nook till 4+pm... 

it turned out so well... i'm so proud of ourselves for coming up with the lesson and putting up the display and our P4 kiddos for creating their masterpieces... 

so hot and sticky and high on adrenaline that one mini wasnt enough... heee 

14th Sept (Sat)

Mab's hatchday greek dinner @ Fotia then ice cream @ Tsujiri with the nies ladies... 😍😍😍... 

really heart this group of ladies who made time for us despite all their crazy work schedule and family commitment... 3 of us have our hatchdays in consecutive months + xmas in dec = monthly meet up from sept to dec... 😍😍😍

most efficient day this sept hol... collected mummy's new phone & sim card with simba, went library and redeemed 1-for-1 bubble tea from koi... 

this sept hols is one of the most 'non activity' school hols i ever had just because i was addicted to an online 小说 that's 2448 chapter long... i'm so happy that i have FINALLY completed it yesterday after 5+ weeks of 下班 刷刷刷 读读读, 休假 刷刷刷 读读读... 😅😅😅

very shiok for the naive heart but very waste time seh cos it's a super 没有营养的 trashy romance story... but but but, it was so entertaining and engaging that i even created a relationship chart on Word for the 24 couples in the story... i heart the author who gave each character unique personality and each couple unique romance plot that i can picture in my bubbly mind so easily whenever i came across them in the story... 😍😍😍
