Chuas is INKED

it all started in 2016... zaza got inked, then mx got inked...and both their tattoos are the 美美 dainty dainty kind... not the dark dark fierce fierce kind that will 吓死人... 😂😂😂

 so i also wanna get inked... and to me, my tattoo must definitely be where it can be seen and admired easily... else like not worth it to go through the pain of getting needle poked for hours leh... 

but my job doesnt allow me to show off this artistic work on me... i remembered googling about the different placement of tattoo and the pain level one has to endure...

my first choice was a ring tattoo but gave up the idea upon seeing the above tattoo pain chart... fingers are one of the most painful area to be tattoo-ed on... 

second choice was having a bracelet tattoo... i was spotting a diy black ink drawn bracelet while in Oasis, hoping that when it got permanent, it would go unnoticed... 😅😅😅

was promised a Hermes Collier de Chien to hide the bracelet tattoo at work too... well, couldnt decide on the tattoo bracelet design as it not only needs to be cute and pretty, it must hold meaning dear to me... 一等再等, 一拖再拖... 就忘了... 😭😭😭

then on 25th June 2019

this was an impulsive rushed decision... one moment we were seated at ponggol clinic... the next moment we were on the way to the tattoo parlour... this symbol was googled and decided in less than an hour... the roman numeral was our date in MM DD YYYY format... a design he had in solid block on his right side-ribs... 

we finally parted 8 months later yet i continue to have this tattoo staring at my face as i want it to serve as a daily reminder to 不要再被骗... 不要再恋爱脑... 单身几 shiok 一下... 有钱 有时间 没烦恼...😂😂😂

anyway, getting tattoos can be addictive... especially after seeing more and more people around me, Alvin & Eng Siew, having theirs so the idea of getting a bracelet tattoo came back and kept loitering in my mind... 😂😂😂

so i tot that using my bullet journal would hopefully make this wish come true this year but it was a conversation about tattoos with the nies ladies back in March that got the ball rolling... the moment Mab got hers done in May, it was my turn to contact the same tattoo artist, 7thscapes...

Chuas in JB over Youth Day Weekend

our precious mummy submitted a request to go batam to eat seafood on Mother's day... a plan for a stayca in JB was formulated instead for ease of transport and better food choices and Alvin & wifey made it happened for all of us... 😂😂😂

蔡妈咪 was so super excited that she couldnt sleep the night before (according to Asti) and was giggling throughout on our journey across the causeway... traffic app showed 3 hours++ was needed for our drive into JB but our powerful driver only took half the time... 😅😅😅

simple lunch at Glutton Food Street, mum made spects then we watched Crisis Negotiators... movie only cost S$20 for 4 of us!!! 🐦🐦🐦

very very entertaining!!! Must Watch!!! the conversation between the characters was hilarious and so many familiar faces... bonus: the show was in Cantonese... 

Checked into D'esplanade Residences @ KSL

a basic apartment that could sleep 11 pax comfortably in 3 bedrooms; 5 king size beds + 1 single bed... very convenient location; less than 3 minutes walk away from KSL, my favourite mall in JB... 😍😍😍

grab to dinner @ Restoran Sing... Alfred was lured by the lala soup while it was the huge variety of lok lok that got me grinning from ear to ear... 😁

mummy's favourite dish from this meal was this plate of gong gong while my favourite was the fried fish skin because of the fried haw flakes.... so interesting!!! 

next up: Mid Valley Southkey... 

we concluded that mummy really like Asti alot alot... always want to buy things for her when we are out... buy until i jealous... so i 脸皮厚厚 placed mine and Angela's new shades into her shopping basket too... 😂😂😂

i jumped ship to Team #2 and the four of us went for some hands and feet pampering while Team #1 went back to apartment to nua the afternoon away... 😂😂😂

me and 妹妹 decided that our nails should be in the same nude sparkly colour... heee 

Dinner was a simple KFC because i had craving for fried chicken after all the 大餐s these two days... Alfred had to leave the 团队 to go home first cos leave for Monday was rejected as it was the first day of school for his program... 

the night was spent watching netflix comedies together; The Con-Heartist in Thai and Luck-Key in Korean

lunch on our 3rd day 

then it was a less than an hour journey back to woodlands... woohoo!!!

treatsure lunch @ The Westin & ice cream (아이스크림 - a i seu keu rim) @ Creme and Cone with Sylvia then dinner @ Tora-San with the nies ladies...

mab had enough of pic & video taking that she didnt want to smile for the food pic so we took it as a trend...😂😂😂...the food (음식 - eum sik) was really NICE and service was great @ this restaurant (식당 - sik dang) even though our pic looked otherwise... =P

and my first Gucci bag (가방 - ga bang) arrived !!! 😍😍😍... thank michelle for lugging it all the way from Japan (일본 - il bon)... i luv it... it's so cute (귀여운 - gwi yeo un) !!!

Zhuan was invited to do a storytelling session for the series of English children's books by two local authors which she had assisted to translate into Chinese. Jio-ed Julia and her two gals to come along too.    

Bought two books for the little teos and got Zhuan and the author to sign and pen a few words (단어 - dan eo) for them...

Alvin came back from Japan last month with this big duffle bag from Gucci, one of the brands that 肖战 is the 全球代言人 of... 

Alvin said because of the strong S$ coupled with weak yen, the bag cost $1k+ cheaper... i was like why u no tell me earlier?!?!?... and he was like, "jie, when are you into branded stuff?"... "hmmmm, since i started 追星-ing?!?!?!" 😂😂😂

Long story (이야기 - i ya gi) short... Michelle is in Japan (일본 - il bon)...

so exciting... i have a mini matchy matchy bag (가방 - ga bang) with 战战 & Alvin... 😍😍😍

as part of MX's belated birthday activity, we went Future World : Where Art Meets Science @ ArtScience Museum   

6+ pretty light projections to explore... 😍😍😍

left my bag at a corner on the floor to free up my hands for photo & video taking... surprised to see flowers blossoming around it upon return... 

then we 'discovered' that our human interference would alter the digital flow & growth...

wasnt in the attire & active level to play on the rainbow steps 

designed our digital pets and 'shot' them up into the screen...
