super 莫名奇妙地, i m involved in a 三角恋 leh.... hahahaha.... i m exaggerating la... cos to me to be considered as a homewreaker, i must be the 第三者 mah.... but how is that possible (at least for now) when Mr Ang and I are still so lovely dovy leh.... hahaha....

today, i m going to share a drama... was initially very irritated by it ....and usually the more irritated i m, the more i will irritate the person who irritates me.... but leh... in the mist of irritating that irritant, i will cost more agony to a friend....so here i m lo...rattling with a non-sensical blog entry ....choose to do it here then to counter assult her on his facebook and make him feel worse.... argh.... trying to make it sound like i m damn nice lo...hahaha...why not, since this is my blog... =P

anyway, i have a teen-hood friend... not very close but once in a while will hang out together as a group... 15 years of friendship liao wor... let's call him Ben... and then, there's his beloved...let's call her Abagail.... hahahaha...so we have Ben with Abagail...

 

okay la...though my Ben is not as 帅 as this Ben, he's still maintain his looks and built rather well for his age lo... and he has a boyish face...plus plus.... but for Abagail mah.... in the same league as the character above lo.... drama seh.... hahahaha.....

anyway, the drama started when i shared with Ben this thinking of mine..."You need to love yourself first before you can learn to love others".... he gave me a feeling that he was not happy...he was confused.... he was being led in and out of a legal relationship during that period... why did i say that leh???? cos i chance upon some beach holidaying photos of abagail and her friends on facebook... she was even in 情侣装 with another guy lo... and he did share that he was going through a rough patch....

anyway, because of that one sentence, i kenna left right up down on facebook by her and was labelled as someone who wants to break up her marriage...hello.... who is the one who wants a separation yet regret her own decision one wor???.... you wanted to go steady, Ben agreed, you wanted to get married, Ben agreed, you wanted a separation, Ben struggled and finally agreed, then suddenly you want to stay married and Ben had to agree also.... such a nice guy where to find???

anyway also not i coined the phrase one lo...went google and found that there are like 6,380,000 articles on "You need to love yourself first before you can learn to love others".... so i scolded her ignorant on my facebook page.... hahahaha... =P....

and after that, for a period of time, i tried not to comment anything on his facebook lo...think got 10 months???? dun even dare to wish him happy hatchday on facebook but have to wait for him to be online lo.... but was in a super good mood on thursday till i forgot about crazy abagail .... made so many comments on other friend's status including Ben's.... i thought mine was rather harmless lo...he was complaining about having no starhub network the whole day...so i asked him to change to mio since he watches soccer too....then got scolded ignorant pig by abagail for praising singtel when singtel was the culprit who cut off starhub cable..... !!! 

initially was super TL la... but after a while, find her a joke... hahaha...how come got such funny ppl one... meany me kept imagining that if i retaliate in my usual manner, i confirm can drive her up the wall... but at the same time, may create even more unhappiness between them .... so no choice lo... is really call 哑巴吃黄连, 有苦说不出... not really 说不出 and also not really 苦, is more of want to scold cannot scold... !@#$%$##@!.... hahaha...but being a self centred person, how can i torture myself right??? so i shall keep my imagination here....

how high do u think she will jump if i reply on facebook the following for calling me a homewreaker??? 

1) Ben, i din know u r in love with me till ur wifey call me a homewreaker leh...

lousy me can only think of 5.... but for a pea brain like me... good enough liao la.... anyway, decided to delete this friend off my facebook.... so that i wun accidentally comment on his posts again.... most importantly wun give abagail another chance to disrupt my mood with her barkings....i just love myself too much to let any crazy ppl affects me... =P ....i know she will still be barking but as long as i cant hear her, i dun care also.... i m a typical 眼不见为净 kind of person.... 

anyway, not friends on facebook does not means not friends in real live what.... and over the years, friends also come and go...even family members come and go.... that's part and parcel of life and something that i have gotten quite use to liao....nothing is permanent..... oopx..... so just be thankful that we had it once and move on bah.... =)

It freaking difficult to find a B&B in florence with a private toilet....had a few discussion with Mr Ang if we are really okay with shared toilet and no we are NOT okay.... think we are just not that kind of super friendly + backpacker style of travellers bah...

took me a few days before i found this hotel that has a private toilet in each room and yet still consider affordable to us (€386 for 5 nights).... and damn... accomodation in rome and florence is damn freaking expensive la.... i know i had complained it endless time liao...so all the more it dosen matter if i complained about it again here lo... hahaha....

santorini is the place where lewei took her wedding photo (if i din remember wrongly).... and it's a beachy place....from what i assume.....hahaha.... hope it's the type of beachy place i always like... so miss the langkawi trip with Mr Ang a year back lo.....

conclusion: accommodation is so much prettier and cheaper in greece than in italy

by the way, we (more to me) gave up searching on what we should do in europe liao... hahaha... we (I) have decided to just ask the B&B owners what is the suggested itinery .... hahaha.... anyway, i don't know anything about the places that we will be visiting...so i confirm wun regret not visiting any place...

actually got abit la... should have stay in santorini for one more day and one less day in athens.... santorini seems more interesting with its volcano theme than the usual dome & museum & church theme in athens.... as if there's isnt enough domes & museums & churches in rome & florence.... =P ...i m really hoping i dun regret choosing europe as honey moony place lo.... oopx....

风水 matters for home sweet home

风水 matters for home sweet home

洪妈妈 and 洪爸爸 are super into 风水... as in they have these 2 风水 books lying permanently on their coffee table so that they can always refer to it... they also have many many 吉祥物 around the house for various purposes...

so 洪妈妈 decided to get our home sweet home 风水-tised as well... =)... basically, i wun get a 风水师 on my own accord but i wun stop anyone who is willing to pay for it for me.... oopx.... from recommendation, 洪妈妈 selected to consult Miss See Han Tee from Jmine Consulting... http://www.jmine.com/index.htm ...

so far, we have completed the full cycle with the 风水 process....
1) first visit - view our home sweet home to gather information

2) second visit - submit report to us, suggest first knock dates, colours to use and basic furniture arrangement

3) third visit - placing of 吉祥物 around our home sweet home so that Mr Ang and I will be goody good good in the years to come.... =)

This product symbolizes ancient official stamp. In ancient China, official stamps were use by royal and officials. One of the effects of this product is to boost status in career. In additional to the above effects, it also helps in increasing prosperity in the family in terms of wealth and even fertility.

so now if you come my house, you can try to take part in what i call the 吉祥物 treasure hunt.... there are a total of 9 goldish items, 2 jade items and 2 ping pong balls hidden around the house.... angela took part yesterday and till now she still cant locate the last item.... hee....

maybe i should give a prize to whoever can locate all 13 items say within 1 hour??? hahaha....

HIHS once more

Back in Holy Innocent High School

had the opportunity to be back at HIHS last friday.... been 16 years since i last set foot in there... looks 70% - 80% the same back then when mei and i were both in sec 1....

the canteen.... with a sofa area and newspaper stand.... maybe i can suggest this for esss.... =P ... the cca notice boards on the pillars look good too... very brightly painted which makes the whole place looks vibrant... likey...=)

basketball court when mei and i had our volleyball practice... yes, both mei and i were in the volley ball cca for one whole year yet at the end of the year, all we could do is serve the ball from one side of the court to the other side of the court.... had never ever played a single proper game at all though we had practices every fri from 330-530pm if i din remember wrongly....

so why would mei and i end up in the volley ball cca leh??? cos in HIHS, every pupil needs to be in 2 ccas, one sports and one club... we were rejected by badminton which both of us went for trial... the other sports ccas such as basketball and netball etc all seems too kungho for us le....so by elimination and bycca selection, we ended up in volley ball lo.... and for club, we were in computer club... hahahaha.... also dun remember what i had learnt.... must be very minimal also bah.... else how come i am such an idiot when it comes to computer stuff leh... =(

the field where we assembled for morning assemblies.... seem abit smaller now.... always thought that the field was damn super big especially when i need to run from one end to the other end

building colours are still in the same shape of blue and white.... but i couldn't locate our classroom, 1E...it seems to have been converted into one of the many ccas room liao...

the toilet on the ground floor... looks totally different from what i remember.... i thought they had this tiled seating area where mei and i used to lie down to read books while waiting for cca to start ...so either they had renovated the toilet or the toilet that we frequent was not this one....

the principal when we were both studying there in 1994 .... i could still remember that i mistook one of the cleaners for the principal lo.... cos both of them were of similar built and looked rather identical to me lo....

so why was i back in HIHS leh????

i was tasked to bring 3 pupils there for an art workshop on tape sculpturing....

so what is tape sculpturing leh????

looks impressive hor??? but actually very easy to do de.... but not a very environment friendly activity as it requires alot alot alot of sticky tapes....

first, wrap the part of the body / object that is to be replicated with cling wrap.... not very comfy was the feedback... told them to just treat it as slim wrap then.... hahahaha.....

second, paste lots and lots of sticky tape over the cling wrap till you have at least 10 layers....

third, using a pair of bandage scissors, cut the artwork open from one side...

last, use sticky tape to join back the opening and then pile more sticky tape on the whole art work....

think that it's quite an interesting and easy to make art form...

10 April 2011 - Bearbi Left Us

A day to remember - 10 April 2011

姐姐，baby 死了... 被车撞死了... alfred said over alvin's phone... tears just dripped uncontrollable... tuition kid was shocked and stared as i teared... i only asked 1 question... who brought her out???

alfred did and i know he feels very bad too... could hear that he was crying as he announced baby's death over the phone... he loves baby lots lots too... more lots than me.... he's always hugging her whenever he comes home from camp over the weekends...

think angela will feel the worst... baby was like her shadow... they study together... baby will climb onto her study table and nuaz on her notes when she's studying ... they sleep together... they literally share the same bed and angela's bed smells like baby...

i was just thinking of baby in the morning.... was thinking of asking angela to bring her over to our new house to let her run around when they deliver my barangs barangs in a week's time.... i was even as lame as to think if she would pee under my decal tree...

so much of her in my mind.... how small and how dark her black fur was when i first saw her in my room when she was only 3 months old... how cuddly and baby like she was then and that's how she got her name... how she would jump and hop around and in the process scratch our legs when we just arrive home... how she would follow us into the bathroom when we bathe, pee or poo...

still remember there was once she entered the bathroom with me... usually she will stay in the dry corner and wait ... but not on this particular day... when i opened my eyes after rinsing off the shampoo, i saw a drenched baby sitting right next to me... that day, she decided that she wanna take a bath with me... i could still remember that i was laughing and scolding her at the same time...

also remember how she goes around licking and licking almost every part of the floor... how she hides and sleeps under my clothes on the cloth rack... how she likes to snuggle on bags left on the floor and how she once fell off the tv console while she stretched in her sleep the other day...

also in my mind were how she looks like a chi wa wa when she is shaved and how furry and tangled she can get when her fur grew out... how nice she smells when kom bathe her with a little dove... and how cute she looks in her green cheer leader dress, orange and demin dress and the pink polka dot dress which i gotten for her for my wedding...

miss the way she always stand to ask us to carry her and the way she knocks on the door to ask us to let u in or out...

she is the reason why i go back home every week... i really miss u...

Train from Rome to Florence

Done with Rome and now moving on to Florence... =)... but before that, need to find out how to travel to Florence.... 3 trains options: (1) Eurostar, (2) Intercity Plus or (3) Regional ....

Why such discrimination leh??? cos Regional trains are the local trains which are alot cheaper but also means will take a longer time from Rome to Florence la....

anyway, managed to find a photo of how the inside of a Regional train would look like...quite lokcok... worse when being compared to the Eurostar and Intercity Plus train but no choice la... Mr Ang and I are budget travellers...or should i say...we are catty travellers.... oopx...

Let me summaries the differences:

(1) Eurostar - 1 hour 35 minutes - 1st class is at 63€ while second class is at 45€

(2) Intercity - 3 hours 1 minutes - 1st class is at 39.50€ while second class is at 30€

(3) Regional - 3 hours 49 minutes - 16.50€

i feel that a 48 minutes difference between the intercity and regional train dosen really make a difference for a 3 to 4 hours train ride so no point spending S$50 extra for 2 tickets to take the intercity train... 

then when compared to eurostar... the 2 hour 14 minute difference would cost us S$100 more...definitely a no no no.... time is really not that precious to us while on holiday.... hahahaha.....

so we decided to just 'enjoy the real rome's way of train travel and the scenic view on the train ride bah... hopefully we get seats too as there's no reservation of seats for regional trains de.... =(....
