Day 1 @ Genting

it was a very last minute trip where both the coach seats and apartment for our 3 days 2 nights trip in Genting were booked just 10 days before the trip when mummy's surgery date was confirmed to be NOT in December....

We managed to book the coach seats @ $83.40 both ways/pax with The One Travel & Tour via easybook.com ... could have save 15% if i had used my UOB credit card.... angry with myself... =S

comfy seats and huge leg space on the coach made mummy a happy traveller.... =D

the boys could even play their multi-players games on Alfred's switch console

while i entertained myself with taking selfie.... love my purple hair.... =)

reached first world hotel @ 2pm, 8hours after we departed from Compass One ... realised that Genting is no longer as cold as what we had remembered....

we had booked Mist@Midhill airbnb apartment which cost a $32rm Grab car journey away as all the affordable hotels @ Genting were fully booked when i tried to get rooms online...

we were hungry and lazy from all the travelling so instead of Grabbing down & up the hill, we decided to book a 6 hour room just for our luggage...
however, we were recommended to use the luggage lockers outside the casino at level 2 instead.... thinking it would be cheaper, we went in search for it only to pay $130rm to have our 1 big + 3 small luggage stored.... !@#$%^&!@#$%^&

Late lunch was at Malaysian Food Street @ Level 4... my eyes nearly popped out of the sockets when i saw the prices... $20rm for a plate of chicken rice or wanton mee?!?!?!?!?!...真的是杀人放火啊!It's even more expensive than Singapore food court pricing x 3 for the exchange rate lo....

Alvin & I ordered Pork Intestine in Bak Kut Teh soup @ $32rm

Mummy had pork intestine porridge

Alfred had fish head curry at $66rm

Eng Siew had chay quay teow

Thank god that all the dishes ordered were really yummilious so we concluded that it was worth the price....

cute signs used for the toilets

spotted many many Pikachus heading for their hourly dance at the centre stage

OMG!!!! Look at the crowd....

checked out the arcade ... nothing fancy....

checked out the indoor amusement park and the only thing that caught our eyes was this HaHa Mirror which made us look taller and thinner.... =D

Our first entertainment on the trip.... watched BumbleBee (2018) on Premium seats that came with a box of popcorn and a cup of soft drink at $26rm each

i like cos not as metal-ry as the other transformer movies that always gave me a headache ...

then it was dinner time.... decided on this as mummy & I were not really hungry from having a late lunch and after the popcorns

Grab car to our apartment was $37rm and took approx 15 minutes... happy that the apartment looked exactly like advertised...

bedroom 1 with 1 queen size bed for mummy & I to share and another queen size bed for Alfred

the open concept of bedroom 2 caught us by surprise

paid $475.50 for 2 nights for 5 paxs
