Now Boarding & LKY 100 with Angela

i tot i read that i had to present the above ticket, which was a momento from the Now Boarding exhibition, in order to enjoy the special curated Now Boarding Tea Set + D24 durian puffs @ Coffee Lounge, Goodwood Park Hotel. So i had Angela meet me at National Museum to collect this ticket and had to sweetly convince ticket auntie into giving us one each when she originally planned to only give us one. 

Happily took bus from National Museum to Goodwood Park Hotel

Then we were told that what was needed was actually the reference number for the reservation of National Museum entrance tickets which i had in my email all along... we could have just meet at Goodwood Park Hotel... 又是带着蔡三宝走冤枉路的一天... 😅😅😅

appetizer : prawn cocktail, abalone kueh pie tee, smoke salmon with egg & caviar on toast

main : chicken satay, cottage pie, hainanese chicken rice

dessert : sherry trufle, banoffee tart, pandan coconut cream puff

both of us were rather intrigued by the interesting platting of local delights, especially the hainanese chicken rice - sushi style... 😂😂😂

Then back to National Museum we went... 

Looking forward to our first sisters' trip to Turkey next year.... =D

yes, 蔡爸爸, 蔡妈咪 and i were among the first to ride on the MRT from amk station to yishun station... lovely memories 😍😍😍

these summarised my (child + teen) hood & angela's childhood... i was a 咖啡妹 and she was a 煎鸡蛋妹 at our 蔡家 canteen... we were complaining that life was so unfair... just because the chuas' boys couldnt be trusted to do a good job at any of the stations, they didnt have to help out at all... all they did was run to the aircon office to play game with the foreman uncles... 真的是能者多劳... 😡😡😡

we are known to be workaholic, we are known to be efficient, yet we STILL find time to celebrate ah... 😂😂😂

the kebaya featured above was from Malaysia-Singapore Airline before 1972 vs the world famous Singapore Airlines kebaya below which first appeared in 1972 after the airline split into MAS vs SIA... 

Participated in < LKY 100 : Life & Legacy of Lee Kuan Yew > digital trail that was in the form of a treasure hunt in Semangat yang Baru Gallery and Singapore History Gallery... had visited these two galleries previously, so zoomed through @ record time but still found time to pose seriously @ the podium... 😂😂😂
