raining since last evening... but i still wanna go Singapore Art Week (SAW) 2024... so put on my long K9 socks, xmas gift from mx, to go with my rain boots...
and off to National Gallery I went!!!
these 'gigantic pebbles' are cushion seats for people to seat on to admire the lantern & floral sculptures in this supposedly calm gallery... i think they made a perfect set with my pebble coffee table... 😍😍😍
impressed at the beauty of these wire sculptures... 😍😍😍
Creative assemblage = surrealism ?!?!?! 😅😅😅
knowledge left to the force of nature.... can this be considered land art too?!?!?!... hmmm...
Luv this watercolour series
gigantic version of my kiddos' cny lanterns... =D
spotted many of the curriculum artworks... 亲眼看到真品s, 感觉就是不同...
these 'prequel' works of Life by the River caught me totally off guard... such valuable teaching resources that show the pre-works to the masterpiece... 😍😍😍
Luv this moon series too... result of artist's experimentation & exploration with ink & water...
not a carpet on the wall !!!
it's crisscrossing strands of silicon-incorporated acrylic paint and enamel paint that create the appearance of a piece of textile draped over the wall.... 😱😱😱
大大小小的相思豆s
the usual projection on many buildings in the area...
A dilemma; Shun Li Industrial Complex or SAM @ Tanjong Pagar Distripark or 42 Waterloo Street for round 2 of SAW leh?!?!?!
