Day 2 in Hong Kong : Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts

 

next stop > decent & pretty massage parlour which we passed by and checked out prior the tour... bought the HK$2000 package to enjoy a 10% discount for all our first session... yes, we came back for a second session on our Day 3 after our Dragon's Back Trail hike...



 




very late dim sum & roast lunch @ 六安居... super yummy char siew and 油鸡 !!!... 



when in rome, do as the romans do... we lined up as Hongkies do at a bus stop to wait for our bus 


then a tram ride> tram ride not comfy one, very brakey, squeaky and seats are hard... 😓😓😓




and a short climb away

Thankful for KY for being go amazingly good with google map and transport know-how in HK... 😍😍😍


we reached Tai Kwun Centre for Heritage and Arts, the former Central Police Station & the former Central Magistracy built in 1841 which was renamed as the former Victoria Prison in 1899... what a multi-purpose venue of law & order!!!

i had a great alone laugh when this police officer came out of nowhere and walked behind them... 



hmmm.... looking like something i imagined our prison would have too...
