搭 claire's 顺风车 to the airport at midnight for our flight at 2am... terrible flight timing via Scoot @ S$318.13... flight was supposed to be at 6am but got moved forward by 4 hours to such unearthly hours and a change in boarding gate last minute-ly had 6 of us doing a 400m dash across the terminal at 1.20am... 😓😓😓
Trio A vs Trio B... thankful for Michelle who got us together seats & priority boarding... 😍😍😍
could hardly sleep through 3 hours and 10 minutes of 2 babies' / toddlers' onboard crying competition and we arrived at Hong Kong at sunrise... 😭😭😭
thankful for claire and her hub for arranging our pick up and drive around till check in time @ 3pm...
had our first meal at this sixties cha chan teng on the first level of a kindergarten building in the neighbourhood near the airport
reasonably priced at S$33 for 6 of us...
interesting air-conditioned wet market where we had an eye-opener at the live chicken and the super neat arrangement of veg for sale...
went cable-car-ing, 大佛 -ing & shopping @ Citygates before we checked-in at 3pm...
our room sweet home was Family 6 Luxury Room @ Nathan Hotel on Nathan Road... paid $278 each for 3 nights
the 老花 in one of us had us trying to break open the door of room 503 instead of our 502... 😂😂😂
the room was way above my expectation... it was clean and spacious enough for movements within the room + 6 of us each have a corner to store and pack our barang barangs + it has sockets right next to all our beds + the beds were sturdy yet comfy enough that i didnt feel my sleep buddy turning nor tossing during sleeps + blankets were thick enough to keep me cozily warm and most importantly, the toilet, shower and 2 basins were all stand-alone... 👍👍👍
i have to admit that as much as i luv having every one in 1 room to chit & chat every day on our hols, i panicked a little prior to the trip knowing that 6 ladies had to share 1 toilet... thankfully we are all fast get-ready peeps and a bonus where 3 of us are on the dark side... 😂😂😂
then we also have sweet Lee Ching for this shoe arrangement above and smart Michelle for the idea to personalise our bedroom slippers... 😍😍😍
matched with our sleeping buddy + marked our own corner + nua nua abit then out we went again...
5 minutes walk to the nearest train station that has signs very similar to ours... bought an octopus travel card which we found out on day 3 that it wasnt necessary as we could actually use our contactless Mastercards on Hong Kong's transport system...
we were too early for dinner so had liang teh neaby just so we had a place to rest our tired feet... heee
yummilicious hotpot dinner @ 楼下火锅 on a cold cold day... really had to walk down a flight of stairs to go 楼下 into this eatery that's decorated in Hong Kong's 70s vibes
queen-bed buddy + I'm Cynthia's Chloe on this trip...
had fun mixing my own dipping sauce from the huge variety
the chicken soup base was so good that we finished the whole pot even before any ingredient was served... 😅😅😅
michelle's favourite which i coined 'looking like a halloween dish"... 😂😂😂
our most expensive meal on this trip @ S$54 each but definitely worth it... 👍👍👍
