am damn proud of myself for spotting a trick to get my partner to be involved in the drawing, cutting and pasting --> placing the item to be done on her lap, which 'forced' her to pick it up to place it on the table, hence releasing her fingers from a tight fist condition enough for me to 'manipulate' them into holding the marker, scissors and glue stick... high-fiving at completing every step is a must too... =D
part of the team that stayed for lunch at APSN Cafe for All & Aston Express
purchased $100 worth of cookies from the APSN baking department too... the Royale cookies which we baked together with two of their students last year were really good... hope this year's double chocolate chips cookies will be equally good...

even got my nails pretty the 'Kinder' way by having them done at The Nail Social, Singapore's first socially conscious salon that was established with the aim of providing vocational training and employment to local marginalised women with a higher barrier to employment, so as to help them progress from a position of vulnerability to security and self-sufficiency.

finally putting the freebie jap doll food container to good use too...has been using it for school catered lunch during work-weeks so as to reduce the use of disposable plates & cutlery
still remember how i insisted on buying 4 x 1.5 litre of not so nice green tea and ice lemon tea just to redeem this food container because it looks cute though i had no use for it at that time... =P
bringing my own shopping bag out whenever possible...
setting up a separate recycle bin at home sweet home
