took the metro
graffiti was really everywhere... 美美的还不打紧, but most really cmi.... why oh why seh?!?!?!
both grilled chicken salad & pizza were yummilicious... 吃得好饱 好饱... 😋😋😋
i always have the impression that Angela luvs her liquor since she had part-timed as a bartender while she was studying in Australia and had always hear her talk about going for drinks and even having drinks at home...
so i suggested / we decided to sign up for the 1.5hr Polish Museum Tour with tasting (S$27.50 each) at The Polish Vodka Museum although i already knew before the trip that i would definitely not drink it all; i only drink to get into the mood to dance during my younger days or only when kenna 'forced' to at birthday celebrations with the RSS + 司马s... 😅😅😅
do i care how others will view me for not drinking at a drinking program? of cos not!!! i value my own comfort level much more than others' opinion and why would others care in the first place???
妹妹 says that no wonder i drink vodka, cos it's made with potatoes and i luv potatoes... 😂😂😂
floor made from old, old, ancient old vodka barrels.... used to give off a fragrant-ful scent that would 'mesmerize' / drunk the visitors when it was first installed... 😅😅😅
'library' of vodkas that they had produced since their very beginning...
one is a good model, one is a good photographer.... heee
up up we went, to the tasting room
4 glasses of different types of vodka for tasting, one at 24% abv while the other three were at least 40% cos 40% is the standard in Poland 😱😱😱
i like the pack of pretzels the most.... 😅😅😅
the guys sitting around 妹妹 must be damn tall & big size for her to look this tiny relatively...
our pretty host, Julia whose name was the password to unlock 5% discount at the gift shop...
matchy matchy colour for the day
who buys a 3L vodka seh?!?! > not me
chocolate perogi?!?! > not me
a 200ml bottle of Wyborowa for Joyce & a magnet of the museum building for home sweet home > i did !!!
overall, i enjoyed the tour. I enjoyed the experience of being in a 100+ year old vodka factory compound that's unique to Poland and learning about its history thru the guide's sharing and the interactive display... 😊😊😊
tour ended by 7pm, the sky was still bright (like our 5pm?!) cos sunset was at 9+pm since it was summer... i asked 妹妹 if we could go back to Warsaw Old Town to look see look see since we only vroomed vroomed past the day before on the Segway...
with a few check check check on her phone, a tram ride
and a flight of steps later, we reached Warsaw Old Town (again)
wow, the male version of snow white
the first & only polish word i learnt on this trip > Lody @ zt8 pln (S$2.81) per scoop
can you believe that these pics @ Old Town were taken between 7.30pm to 8.30pm?!?!?!
a flock of wooden 羊咩咩s
妹妹 says heng, no need to drive in Warsaw, else have to mount kerb to park seh!?!?!? stress!!! 😅😅😅
