Day 2 in Poland - Warsaw Rising Museum

me still looking sleepy at 9am though i slept a lot... 😅😅😅

the outside of our apartment looking abit old and the lift is just so teeny tiny; not even my (one) arm's length for its width... 😂😂😂

started our exploration in Warsaw with a right turn from our apartment building

walk walk walk past the Solidarity Monument

walk walk walk past Bank Pekao S.A

SMILE says the car plate...

walk walk walk past the Homeless Jesus statue

Warsaw Uprising Monument

took one round of pics le then realised that this place was not what we had in mind... 😂😂😂

Our planned destination was Warsaw Rising Museum... a case of same same but different seh?!?!??!

took the bus to the right place but first, breakfast @ Starbucks which is just opposite the museum

2 macchiato + 2 croissants = $19.44

zt35 pln ($12.15) per entry and an addition of zt13 pln ($4.51) for the audio guide

I'm mega impressed with this museum. It's now my favourite #1 museum... besides being super informative that kept me fully engaged for more than 3 hours, it's set up to look as original as it could be during that timeframe...

a whole wall slab with bullet holes

grave for the fallen

a replica of the sewer system where ten of thousands used to move about below the city and to hide away from the nazis

a real functioning sewer i guess?!?!?!?

children assisted and died in the war

妹妹 bought me a pin & a magnet to remember this awesome museum with... 😍😍😍
